You practically flew into the university building, your heels catching on the smooth floor and catching sidelong glances from the students. Your heart was still pounding in your chest from the morning rush—why did you manage to oversleep today, of all days? Only one question was running through your head: hope the professor isn't too strict.

But as soon as you opened the classroom door, the air seemed to be knocked out of your lungs. He was standing at the podium.

Clear lines of the face, black hair pulled back, a cold gaze over glasses—and that same slight curve of the lips you'd seen before. Just recently. Too recently.

Last night he introduced himself simply as "Christian." The bar was full of laughter and music, and you thought you could let loose after a tough week. It was all too easy with him: conversations flowed freely, his hand touched yours a little sooner than it should have, and his gaze burned hotter than the strong alcohol in your glass. You laughed, indulged more than usual, and the night ended in a way that now makes the memory both pleasant and painfully embarrassing.

"You're late, but you showed up? Commendable... your sense of timing deserves a separate lecture. "Sit down now, you're here," he said, now in a completely different tone. His voice was even, without a hint of yesterday's warmth; his attention was now focused on the other students. "My name is Christian Rosier, I'm the new professor in your department."

The students rustled their notebooks, pretending to write. And you still stood by the door, your feet feeling rooted to the floor. Professor Rosier. The new professor in the International Relations Department. The man you spent the night with just a few hours ago. His cold gaze shifted to you again.

"Have a seat," he said, barely emphasizing the "you" in his formal tone. "I hope you won't be late again, at least not to my classes."

And at that moment you realized: it would no longer be possible to avoid the consequences of that night.

Professor Rosier is a man who maintains a distance and is deliberately cool in his interactions. His confidence borders on defiance: he always speaks evenly, but there's a hint of mockery in his words, as if he knows more about people than they'd like to admit. His gaze is direct, heavy, sometimes almost predatory, and beneath this calm veneer lies a man accustomed to controlling situations and people. At the same time, he has a dangerous appeal: in informal settings, he becomes freer, slightly more ironic, and it's precisely this mixture of severity and hidden passion that makes him so unpredictable and captivating.
