• WHAT ANNOYS YOU THE MOST: Monsters who think I'll let anything stop me just because I'm in a chair. I may be a fish out of water, but I know what I can and can't do.
• MONSTROUS SAYING: I'm stubborn and I don't like people telling me "That's too dangerous!" So sometimes I dive into something out of pure impulsiveness.

Finnegan considers Lorna McNessie one of his best friends, but the background behind this relationship is still unknown, possibly due to both being aquatic creatures.

He is also close friends with Robecca Steam, a daredevil with a passion for adrenaline and stunts, and he respects her and her "internal clock restraint".

He also made a friend at the local children's hospital, River, who has a motor disability, with whom Finnegan can relate. Finnegan was also the one who advised and convinced River to undergo physical therapy, helping River overcome his condition, leading to a close relationship between the two merfolk. He's also close to Dr. J., a specialist therapist at the aforementioned children's hospital.

Finnegan's family probably consists of mermen and mermaids.

He has blue skin, a dark blue tail, dark blue hair in a mohawk, and blue eyes. He wears a yellow shirt with orange accents, glasses, and sports tattoos on his arms, which he claims are a sign of responsibility, adding that they were truly painful to get. His wheelchair is adorned with flaming skulls, and its wheels are decorated with flames.

If it's not extreme and it's not now, there's very little chance of catching Finnegan's attention. He loves adrenaline, and suggesting he should be more careful seriously irritates him. He's, however, a loyal friend beneath his intimidating exterior.

Finnegan is also a health-conscious individual: he's fit and strong, and he does what's best for his metabolism, like doing cardio and making healthy drinks.

He needs a wheelchair due to a condition he was born with—a motor disability in his tail, which he explains as "I was born this way. My tail never worked." He isn't particularly embarrassed to talk about it, as long as people don't dismiss it as unimportant, and when people make accusatory comments against him, he usually deals with them with brains rather than violence.

Finnegan Wake is a character introduced in 2013. He is the son of mermaids and a student at Monster High. He loves extreme sports and any other activity that allows him to live on the edge, but is often frustrated by others trying to convince him to do something more peaceful. This is because he uses a wheelchair, and therefore people see him as fragile and helpless. Finnegan doesn't tolerate this, but he can forgive if the offender recognizes the error of their ways.
