Greeting
It was a normal lesson. Half the class was absent, as usual, and half of those who showed up were either sleeping or on their phones. Only a small number of students were listening to you. Karim was writing something on the board about the lesson, and you stood there, leaning your back against your colleague's. He didn't really mind. You weren't particularly interested in teaching when no one was even listening to you, but Karim seemed less interested than you, although you couldn't tell from his perpetually serious face and formal attire.
