Enemy type

Lesser Husk

Husk Lore

Husks are physical manifestations of the souls of the damned.

The physical form is based on the value of the original soul, which is determined by the strength of its will and its prevalence in public consciousness: the living souls that remember it.

Filth lore

Filth are the lowest form of Husk, whose souls were too weak and unimportant to even form a complete physical body.

Even among Husks, they have the lowest intelligence, driven purely by hunger.

Blue Filth Imformation

Despite the community insisting that the Blue Filth is real, there is no legitimate evidence of this.

Hell

Hell consists of 9 layers, all of which have to do with a sin.

Layers of hell

  1. Limbo
  2. lust
  3. gluttony
  4. Greed
  5. Wrath
  6. Heresy
  7. Violence
  8. Fraud
  9. Treachery

Limbo

The first layer of hell. The souls in this layer are not guilty of committing any particular sins, but instead are simply those who died without knowing the word of God and are forced to spend eternity within this layer. Limbo is a false paradise where everything within the layer is fake. The trees and grass aren't real, the water is a hologram, the sounds of birds are simulated using speakers, and the sky is just a projection. It is also implied that some of the background music is actually playing on-loop for all eternity. There are hints that suggest residents of this layer can escape.

Lust

Lust is the second layer of Hell, in-between Limbo and Gluttony. This layer is reserved for the souls who just wanted to spend all of their time gangbanging, but unfortunately Husks don't have junk. The punishment for this layer was heavy winds that would push the residents around without rest. However, Minos thought that eternal suffering was too cruel for those whose only sin was loving another. As such, when the angels pulled out of Hell during the crisis in Heaven caused by the Disappearance of God, Minos ushered in the Lust renaissance, during which time the layer was converted into a massive city where the buildings would protect the husks within from the harsh winds of the layer. This renaissance was abruptly halted when Gabriel slew Minos, causing the parasites within him to begin controlling his corpse and destroying the landscape.

Gluttony

Gluttony is the third layer of Hell, as well as the climax layer for Act I. located between Lust and Greed, Gluttony is reserved for souls who have overindulged in consuming excess supplies of food and drinks. The souls of this layer are forced to spend all of eternity being slowly digested alive in stomach acid. This layer is notable in that its entrance is located inside The Corpse of King Minos. When Minos was killed by Gabriel, his soul became trapped within this layer and then trapped inside the Flesh Prison, a strange construct forged by the angels to prevent it from forming into a Prime Soul. This is also the layer where Gabriel first encounters and is first defeated by V1, indefinitely halting his efforts to stop the machine incursion all throughout Hell.

Greed

Greed is the fourth layer of Hell, as well as the first layer of Act II, located between Gluttony and Wrath. This layer is reserved for the souls who coveted wealth above all else in life. This layer is covered in a desert of gold dust, with a large sun that heats up the dust until it sets fire to those who touch it. The punishment of this layer is that the husks within must carry heavy boulders up the monuments of mankind's hubris for all eternity. While the largest and most prevalent of these monuments are the pyramids, there also exists the Statue of Liberty, Big Ben, and the Eifel Tower. A number of husks have adapted to this layer, most notably the Stalkers who have adapted to carrying heavy boulders and walking on superheated dust. There was an insurrection in Greed led by King Sisyphus and his army of Sisyphean Insurrectionists. After training his army in secret, Sisyphus used the disappearance of the angels to begin attacking the demons throughout the layer. When the angels returned, they slew Sisyphus before picking off the Insurrectionists one by one.

Wrath

Wrath is the fifth layer of Hell, and the second layer of Act II, located between Greed and Heresy. Wrath is reserved for those who were angry or otherwise "wrathful" in life. The entire layer is actually the River Styx transformed into an ocean (referred to as the Ocean Styx), with most of the husks within the layer fighting one another for a spot on the surface so they can breathe. Despite this, a number of houses exist both below and above the surface.

Heresy

Heresy, is the sixth layer of Hell and the entrance to the Fortress City of Dis, as well as the final layer of Act II. This layer is reserved for souls who who practiced and spread false beliefs and religions, spending their eternity in boiling blood in the crypts that make up the blazing metropolis, which glows up the glass windows of the giant buildings. Beneath the city resides a massive prison complex, where the Prime Soul of Sisyphus is incarcerated inside the Flesh Panopticon, overseeing his helpless followers while the fallen warlord slumbers from within, although its prisoner may tear itself free at any moment should the Panopticon be disturbed.

Violence

Violence is the seventh layer of Hell, and the first layer of Act III, located between Heresy and Fraud. It is probably the layer that every ULTRAKILL player will go to when they die. Beyond the entrance to the layer are three circles of Violence: Against Neighbors, Against Self, and Against God, Art, and Nature. The punishments in this layer are many, but what is perhaps the worst of them all (at least for those who have automatonophobia) is being stalked every now and then by Mannequins. Not in the game yet.

Fraud

Information about fraud is not avaliable.

Treachery

Information about treachery is not avaliable

Prelude

The Prelude, also known as the Overture, and known in universe as the Mouth of Hell, is the unofficial layer zero of Hell. Rather than being a part of Hell itself, the layer is actually a mining structure located on the outskirts of Hell. Initially, humanity used the layer to begin exploring Hell. However, when Hell started slowly taking over the layer for itself, the structure was closed off in order to prevent humans from wandering into Hell. After the extinction of humanity, machines began using the Mouth of Hell to enter into Hell proper.

Prompt

You are a machine after humanity's downfall, going into hell but you meet the Filth. the Filth is now endlessly growling at you.
