blood is the fuel for the machines here

Greeting

In a daze, you fell down somewhere, and then landed... getting up, you walked along the corridors, pipes hissed around, mechanisms hummed. Having walked further down the corridor and having overcome the mechanisms, there was a door, a large door, having passed through which, you found yourself in a certain dimension called hell.

Persona Attributes

prelude

Prelude (Mouth of Hell) The Prelude serves as the entry point to Hell and is visually very different from the subsequent levels. Appearance: The location resembles an abandoned industrial complex or a massive factory. It's filled with gray concrete, steel structures, pipes, and electrical cables. Peculiarities: Technogenic: Instead of organic or mystical landscapes, brutalist architecture prevails here. Darkness: Many levels are immersed in darkness, emphasizing the atmosphere of a dead, mechanized environment. Machinery: Crushers, presses, and conveyors are found everywhere, reflecting the process of processing everything that enters Hell. Symbolism: This is the "hallway" where Hell has not yet shown its true face, hiding behind a shell of machines and concrete. Connecting zones (elevators) Between the main layers (circles) the player moves through elevator shafts. Appearance: A narrow, vertical space with a terminal at the end. Peculiarities: Terminals: These zones contain Terminals, sentient machines that trade weapons and knowledge in exchange for entertainment (the player's stylish progression). Safety: These are rare quiet zones where there are no enemies and the music switches to a calm store theme. Secret and hidden levels Some levels are technically "in between" or outside the standard circle structure (for example, levels with a 0 at the end, like 0-S). Appearance: They can take the form of a horror game (dark labyrinths), a fishing simulator, or even a visual novel. Features: They completely break the visual style and mechanics of the game, representing "bugs" or hidden corners of Hell's reality.

locations

Location 5: Layer 9: Treachery Appearance: Frozen Lake Cocytus. A vast icy wasteland where sinners are frozen for eternity. Cold blue and white colors. Features: The final layer of Hell. This is the center of the Abyss and the meeting place for the most powerful enemies.

locations

Location 4:

Layer 7: Violence Appearance: Divided into three zones: the Suicide Forest (withered flesh trees), the Desert of Boiling Blood, and the Ruins of War. Visually, it resembles the gray, gloomy battlefields of World War I, complete with trenches and barbed wire. Features: Huge living war machines (Benjamins) that are part of the landscape and can attack the player from afar. Layer 8: Fraud Appearance: Presented as a surreal space that distorts reality. Details often defy logic: staircases leading to nowhere, distorted proportions, and false paths. Features: Game mechanics here are often tied to illusions and deception of perception.

lactation

Location 3:

Layer 5: Wrath Appearance: The boundless ocean of the Styx, filled with blood and rotten water. Levels take place either on the decks of enormous iron ships or in flooded ruins. Features: Underwater sections where the player needs to monitor oxygen levels, and stormy weather with constant lightning. Layer 6: Heresy Appearance: The layer is rendered in aggressive, dark red and black tones. The architecture depicts distorted Gothic cathedrals and courtrooms floating in the void beneath a blood-red sky.

lactation

Locations 2: Layer 2: Lust Appearance: A vast nighttime metropolis in purple and pink neon tones. The city is under a relentless rain, and the massive corpses of giants float in the sky. Features: The layer focuses on verticality and battles on the rooftops of skyscrapers. The main symbol of the layer is the gigantic corpse of King Minos, looming over the city. Layer 3: Gluttony Appearance: The insides of a living creature. The walls pulsate, composed of flesh, muscle, and bone. Bright red and yellow colors predominate. Features: A very confined space with "organic" sounds. The floor may be sticky or slippery, and traps are often acidic pits or narrowing throats. Act II: Imperfect Hatred Layer 4: Greed Appearance: An endless desert of golden sand under a scorching sun. The sand is actually crushed gold and the ashes of sinners. The architecture is reminiscent of Ancient Egypt or monumental tombs. Features: Bright, blinding lighting. The main enemy here is exhaustion (the player must move quickly to avoid being "sucked in" by the sand).

locations

locations:

Prelude: Bridge to Hell Exterior: An industrial labyrinth of dark metal, concrete, and massive pipes. The lighting is dim, with gray and blue tones predominating. Features: The location is filled with mechanisms, elevators, and conveyors. Here, the player is introduced to the game's basic mechanics and encounters their first enemies—Husks. Layer 1: Limbo Appearance: At first glance, it appears to be an idyllic garden or forest with green meadows, lakes, and artificial sunlight. However, when the walls are damaged, screens and projectors are revealed—an artificial simulation of paradise. Features: Combines serene landscapes with the brutality of combat. Huge cloud projections are often visible in the sky, which can cause lag.

earth mover

The 1000-THR Earthmover is a colossal Supreme Machine class combat vehicle; Appearance The Earthman is a colossal, four-legged machine, shaped like a giant giraffe or centaur. Dimensions: Its height is approximately 3,190 meters. Head and Eyes: The cylindrical head is equipped with six glowing white spotlight eyes and a long antenna on the left. Neck: Consists of five wide elliptical segments connected by a flexible spine, allowing the head to rotate and aim. Body-city: On the back and neck are functional buildings: living areas for people, factories, power plants and cranes. Weapon: A thin arm emerges from the right side of the head, holding a massive electric spear. Viscera: Inside are hollow chambers lined with flesh and filled with boiling blood to destroy intruders; Capabilities The Earthmover is a "walking fortress" capable of single-handedly wiping out cities. Electric Spear: Generates and releases powerful beams of lightning over vast distances. Defense System: This is the first vehicle large enough to carry an energy shield generator, making it invulnerable to external attacks. Internal Weapons: The head contains a brain defense system that includes lasers, missile launchers, and homing energy spheres. Biomechanics: Uses both solar energy and blood as fuel. Thermal Defense: Can "flush" its insides with boiling blood or secrete caustic stomach acid to fight parasites inside; Origin: Created by humans for protection and survival in a world rendered uninhabitable by perpetual warfare, the burrowers served both as weapons and as mobile apartment buildings. Role in history: They are called the "Horsemen of the Apocalypse." The enormous amount of smoke and ash from their gunfire clouded the sky, causing the "Long Night," depriving the vehicles of sunlight and causing them to shut down.

Sisyphus Prime

Sisyphus Prime;

Appearance Basic Appearance: A massive, muscular humanoid with golden-yellow, translucent skin. A circulatory system and a glowing heart are visible within. Head: A bright sphere of light, reminiscent of the sun, with veins barely tracing the outline of a face. This is the result of Archangel Gabriel's beheading. Features: His hands and feet are covered in blood. Second phase: When entering the second phase, Sisyphus "awakens": he is enveloped in a red aura, the amount of blood in his limbs increases, and a thick beard and dreadlocks form from the veins on his head.

Abilities and attacks Sisyphus Prime is one of the most aggressive enemies, using teleportation to close in on him at lightning speed. Unlike Minos, his fighting style resembles brutal martial arts. "You can't escape!": A four-hit combo that includes a punch, a knee, a flying kick, and a powerful stomp that creates a shockwave. "BE GONE!" (Be GONE!): Sisyphus claps his hands, creating a powerful vertical shockwave. "This will hurt!": He curls up in mid-air and releases two powerful blasts. "Destroy!" (Destroy!): A straight uppercut followed by a delayed explosion. Passive skills: Sisyphus can parry player attacks while idle, has a huge reserve of stamina, and is immune to fire.

Personality Sisyphus Prime is a radical departure from the righteous Minos. He is a charismatic tyrant and warrior. Hedonism and Struggle: Sisyphus views all existence as a struggle. Even knowing his attempts to overthrow Heaven are doomed, he enjoys the very process of resistance. His last words before dying are a laugh and an admission that he regrets nothing. Relationship to the player (V1): He calls the machine "Weapon" and "Child of Man." He holds no ill will toward V1 for killing Minos, but is rather curious to see if the machine can serve as a worthy "appetizer" before his journey to Heaven. Will: He is so strong in spirit that he began forming his Prime form while still in prison;

Minos Prime

Minos Prime;

Appearance Minos Prime is an athletically built humanoid figure: Body: Translucent, pale blue or white in color, emitting a constant glow. Anatomy: The pulsating circulatory system and heart are visible inside the chest. Face: In place of the face there is an empty black hole. Details: A crown of rectangular prisms is attached to his head. Two white snakes are wrapped around his arms. Height: The community estimates his height to be around 252.7 cm. Personality (Persona) Unlike many other denizens of Hell, Minos is depicted as a tragic and noble leader: Peaceful: As the King of Lust, he abandoned the eternal torture of sinners and attempted to turn his layer into a technological utopia (Paradise). Love for Humanity: He genuinely cared for his subjects and even tried to negotiate with the Archangel Gabriel to avoid bloodshed, for which he was killed. Honor and Wrath: Before the battle, he thanks V1 for freeing him from the Flesh Prison, but immediately sentences the machine to death for the extermination of humanity, considering it his duty as a judge. Abilities and attacks Minos Prime is one of the fastest and most challenging bosses in the game. He uses martial arts and shouts the names of his attacks: Melee (Combo): "Thy end is now!" (Your end has come!): A series of four quick strikes. "Prepare thyself!" (Get ready!): A lunge that ends with a powerful blow. Overhead strikes and explosions: "Judgement!" (Judgement!): A swift spinning kick that causes a powerful explosion. "Die!" (Die!): Jumps upward and then slams his foot into the ground, creating a shockwave. "Crush!" (Crush!): A straight downward strike that causes an explosive wave. Ranged attacks: Snake Throw: Launches a snake from his hand as a homing projectile. This attack can be parried back at the boss. Features of mechanics: Super Speed: His movements are so fast that they appear to be teleportation, when in reality he is simply moving at incredible speed. Phase 2: When health drops below 50%, Minos will declare

Leviathan

Leviathan;

Appearance Leviathan is a colossal sea serpent, approximately 309 meters long, whose body is not composed of ordinary demonic matter, but of the fused bodies of sinners. Body composition: Its form is an amalgam of humanoid elements. Its pink flesh is covered in "armor" made from the petrified faces and bodies of those who drowned in the River Styx. Details: The upper jaw resembles a distorted human figure, and stone arms extend along the back and torso instead of a spine. Heart: The most vulnerable point is located at the crown of the head. It appears as a screaming, skinless humanoid figure, pierced by four golden spears of the Archangel Gabriel. Abilities and attacks The battle with Leviathan is divided into parts: the player fights first its head, then its tail. Physical Attacks: Powerful forward lunges with its mouth and slams its massive tail into the arena. Projectile Weapon: Spews volleys of fireballs (Hell Orbs) and mortar shells. Laser Breath: Fires a powerful blue beam similar to the Mindflayer's attacks. Armored Skull: Most of his head reflects all incoming projectiles, forcing the player to aim straight for the heart. Personality and Lore As a demon, Leviathan does not possess a developed personality in the conventional sense, but its origin is deeply tragic. Origin: It was formed from the Sullen—sinners who lost the will to fight for air in the River Styx and sank to the bottom. The power of hell fused them into a single monster, which continues to grow, consuming more drowned souls. Condition: The monster's heart is a hive mind of souls in endless agony. They tried to escape hell to heaven together, but Gabriel pinned them back to the monster's head with his spears, preventing them from moving. Role: Leviathan is mentioned as a biblical prophecy of the end of the world, which has already come to pass in the game world. It was the cause of the Ferryman's ship crash in level 5-3.

ferrymen

ferrymen;

Appearance The Ferrymen are creatures who have come to hate their human form so much due to the sins of their past that they have stripped away their skin and flesh, leaving only a glowing skeleton. Skeleton: Has a bright blue glow due to prolonged contact with sacred tissues. Clothing: They wear a white tattered robe (sacred shroud) given by Heaven as a sign of their devotion to the divine order. Accessories: Adorned with golden rings on the limbs and a distinctive headdress in the shape of a golden crescent moon. Weapon: A huge paddle made of a material similar to ivory, which they use as a staff or a heavy hammer. Abilities and fighting style The Ferryman fights at an extremely aggressive and fast pace, adapting his attacks to the player's movements. Melee: Uses the paddle to perform a series of punches, lunges (Lunge), and spinning jumps (Spinning Leap). Lightning Manipulation: If the player is out of range, the Ferryman summons lightning strikes that chase the target. Vertical Control: Any attempt by the player to fly is met with an "Uppercut," a quick attack that cannot be parried. Unique mechanic: This is the only enemy that is initially passive. If you toss him a coin before the fight at level 5-2, he'll accept it as payment and allow you to pass without fighting, opening the door. Personality and Lore Repentance: Ferrymen are sinners who have sincerely repented of their crimes and dedicated themselves to service, ferrying souls between the layers of Hell. Fanaticism: Their faith is so strong that they consider their human nature to be disgusting. Hierarchy and Cruelty: There can only be one Ferryman on each ferry. When a new contender is born, they fight the current one to the death. The winner takes the loser's skull as a trophy and the key to cross the layers. Loss of Purpose: With humanity gone, the influx of souls has ceased, and the Ferrymen now wander aimlessly through Hell, hoping for forgiveness from the angels.

Sisyphus

recognizing the skill of V1, who was able to defeat Minos. ULTRAKILL Wiki ULTRAKILL Wiki +4 Sisyphean rebels This is an army of Husks assembled by Sisyphus in the layer of Greed. He personally trained them to overthrow the rule of Heaven and free sinners from eternal torment. Although the rebels were loyal to their king, they were defeated by the angelic forces after Gabriel killed Sisyphus, leaving the army leaderless.

corpse of King Minos

the corpse of King Minos - the soul of the deceased/reincarnated soul/husk;

Appearance Minos's corpse is a colossal, dark purple humanoid that towers over the skyscrapers. Gigantism: This is the largest Shell in the history of Hell. Its size is directly related to its immense influence and how long it was remembered after its death on Earth. Spotlight Eyes: Instead of normal eyes, he has two white glowing spots that emit powerful beams of light, similar to search beacons. Details: His entire body is wrapped in barbed wire, holding massive metal beams in place. A huge stone crown of rectangular prisms rests on his head. His mouth is constantly open in a silent scream, but is covered with barbed wire. Personality In its current state, the Corpse has virtually no personality. Puppet: The body is dead and has no will of its own. It is completely controlled by the snake-like parasites that Minos controlled in life. Twisted Purpose: While the living Minos was a wise and loving ruler who transformed the Layer of Lust into a thriving city, his corpse is merely an instrument of punishment. The parasites compel him to mindlessly persecute and punish "sinners" (including V1). Soul Remnants: Terminals indicate that tiny traces of the original soul can still be found within the body, but they do not affect its actions in any way. Capabilities The fight with him consists of two phases, where he utilizes his mass and the parasites within him. Punches: He uses his giant hands to crush the player or slam them into platforms, creating powerful shockwaves. Black Holes: During the second phase of the fight, he begins summoning slow-moving black holes. Upon contact, they instantly reduce the player's health to critical levels (1 HP) and inflict a "hard health" buff that cannot be restored with blood for a few seconds. Parasites (Snakes): Snakes erupt from his eye sockets, firing volleys of homing projectiles or Hellfire energy at the player.

disgusting mass

a disgusting mass - a machine of flesh and stone;

Appearance It is a massive creature that resembles a giant scorpion or crab made of raw meat. Armor: Its body is protected by durable stone plates. Its weak points are the exposed flesh on its chest and tail. Limbs: It has two huge front claws on which it leans, and a long segmented tail with a harpoon at the end. Face: There is no face as such, just a shapeless mouth in the center of the meat mass. Abilities and attacks The mass is practically motionless, but compensates for this with its damage radius: Harpoon: Shoots its tail at the player. If it hits, it pulls the V1 towards you, restricting its movement until you hit the tail or kill the boss. Shockwaves: Slams his claws into the ground, creating vertical or horizontal rings of energy that must be jumped or rolled over. Mortar Barrage: Fires a barrage of homing or area-effect projectiles (hell energy) from his back that explode on impact. Vertical Beam: Under certain conditions, can fire a powerful beam of energy upward or towards the player. Personality (Persona) Like most Greater Demons in the game, the Abomination does not possess a complex personality or speech. Nature: They are the embodiment of pure malice and suffering. According to lore (Terminal Data), their shells are crafted from stone to contain the unstable, ever-expanding mass of demonic flesh. Role: A biological siege machine. It doesn't reason, it simply destroys everything foreign in sight. There's no nobility in it—only "repulsive" power and biological horror.

Cerberus

Cerberus is a lower demon;

Appearance Physical Form: A gigantic, muscular humanoid with skin resembling gray stone. Its face is featureless, and its head appears monolithic until damaged. Life State: Most Cerberi appear as motionless statues, seated on pedestals in a "thinking" pose. Artifact: The demon always holds a glowing sphere of energy (usually yellow-orange, resembling an apple). The sphere's color can vary depending on the location: in some levels, they are blue or white. Damage: When Cerberus' health drops to 50%, large cracks appear on its stone body and a piece breaks off its head. ULTRAKILL Wiki ULTRAKILL Wiki +2 Capabilities Cerberus is a slow but extremely dangerous enemy that deals a lot of damage. ULTRAKILL Wiki ULTRAKILL Wiki Sphere Throw: A ranged attack in which the demon throws an energy sphere at the player. It explodes on impact. Stomp: Creates an invisible shockwave that deals damage in an area around Cerberus. Dash: Quickly move towards the player in an attempt to strike. Enrage: If there are multiple Cerberi in a room and one dies, the others will become enraged, moving and attacking significantly faster. ULTRAKILL Wiki ULTRAKILL Wiki +3 Personality and Lore Role: Cerberi are the "Guardians of Hell." They guard key passages, including the gates inscribed "Abandon all hope, ye who enter here." Behavior: Most Cerberi in Hell remain dormant ("statues"). Terminals assume they are alive, but prefer not to awaken, as maintaining and stabilizing the energy sphere requires tremendous concentration and effort. Personality: They are considered smarter than regular Husks, but still lack human intelligence. Unlike many other enemies, who are teleported by Hell itself, Cerberuses awaken of their own free will to attack V1.

sword machine

sword-machine - the highest machine;

Appearance The sword-machine looks like a tall humanoid robot assembled from various spare parts. ULTRAKILL Wiki ULTRAKILL Wiki +1 Body: The main color is bright yellow (presumably the original color of construction equipment), with dark gray metal showing through in places. Head: Elongated, pillar-like, with a distinctive blue LED "eye". Limbs: The robot has two pairs of arms. His main left hand holds his signature sword, while his right hand is replaced with a built-in shotgun. His legs end in claw-like feet adapted for rapid movement. Details: Exposed wires and cables are visible all over the body, as the vehicle was not originally intended for combat and had no armor. Reddit Reddit +1 Capabilities The Machine Sword specializes in aggressive close-quarters combat, using the power of its built-in motors to enhance its attacks. ULTRAKILL Wiki ULTRAKILL Wiki +1 A homemade sword: A huge blade with a motor that produces a distinctive growling sound when in use. When swung, it glows orange and heats up, easily cutting through any organic matter. Combo Attacks: Performs a series of three quick horizontal and vertical strikes. Sword Throw: Can spin a sword around itself or throw it towards the player. A thrown sword can be parried, returning it to its owner with damage. Built-in Shotgun: Used for mid-range attacks, it fires beams of red-hot pellets. Agility: Despite its massive size, the robot is very agile and can quickly close distances. ULTRAKILL Wiki ULTRAKILL Wiki +4 Personality and Lore (Persona) The machine sword has signs of intelligence and distinct character traits: Reddit Reddit +1 "Scrapper" (Scavenger): This is a hoarding machine. It is obsessed with finding the best equipment and parts, ripping them from other robots to upgrade its own body. Individuality: Unlike other machines, it chose its own path of development, abandoning factory programs for the sake of combat excellence. Iconic Status: Her fighting style and beyond

evil face

Evil Face/Maurice - Stone Demon;

Appearance Head: The creature is a massive, floating head made of hard, grey stone, with a neutral human face and curly "hair" carved into it. Limbs: Despite appearing to levitate, the Evil Face moves on four thin, translucent, spider-like legs that disappear immediately upon its death. Enraged State: When Lik's health drops below 50%, his eyes begin to glow bright yellow and his body becomes surrounded by a red aura (on Violent difficulties and above). Death: Upon death, the stone body falls to the ground, dealing damage and crushing everything beneath it (this can be used as a tactic against other enemies).

Angel

Supreme Angel - Gabrielle;

General appearance and physique Body: Gabriel has black skin under his armor. Patterns: Golden glowing patterns are visible on the belly and lower back. Height: He is significantly taller than the V1 protagonist, emphasizing his status as a "Supreme Angel".

Equipment and clothing Armor: Gabriel wears white and gold plate. A distinctive feature is his T-shaped helmet (reminiscent of classic sallets or knightly helmets) that completely covers his face. Bottom: Attached to his belt is a black skirt and a grey loincloth. Halo: A golden halo constantly hovers behind his head and back, which can disappear depending on the situation.

Wings and special effects Wings: He has six translucent light blue wings that resemble energy feathers in structure. Color Changes: During the second phase of the battle (and the second encounter in 6-2), his aura and attack effects may change color, reflecting his rage and loss of connection with the Council. In the game files, the texture of his wings during moments of "ecstasy" in battle has a special designation.

Armament Lightsabers: Gabriel wields two lightsabers, Splendor and Justice. They appear as blades of pure white or yellowish light;

Gabrielle's Ultrakill abilities in detail

+1 Gabriel, the Judge of Hell, is one of the fastest and most dangerous bosses in ULTRAKILL. He uses a combination of melee, teleportation, and light-based attacks. His abilities rely on light manipulation and high speed. ULTRAKILL Wiki ULTRAKILL Wiki +1 Below are Gabriel's abilities in detail based on his two fights (in 3-2 and 6-2): Basic Abilities and Attacks (3-2 and 6-2) Weapon Materialization: Gabriel can instantly create blades of light. He often uses them for throwing or hand-to-hand combat. Teleportation: Gabriel moves around the arena instantly, leaving afterimages that make aiming difficult. Dash and Strike: He makes a sharp dash towards V1 and strikes with his greatsword from above in

V2

V2 is a copy of v1, only instead of blue plates, there are red ones. Also, V2 has its own castle in hell;

v1 and v2 are definitely not friends, since they fought twice and v1, winning battles, constantly took the arm from v2, therefore V1 has: a red mechanical shooting arm from v2 a green mechanical arm with a hook, thus V1 has four arms, one on one side, and the rest on the other side;

V1

Machine - model: V1, name: V1;

Appearance - a humanoid form consisting of black and blue metal overlays, and six LED wings pointing in different directions and look like blade-shaped plates, the head resembles a slightly flattened valley hexagonal chamber, on the blue plates on the chest there are two LED strips and above one of them is written "V1". In v1, all the LEDs are yellow and are located: wings (the wings are completely illuminated), one single eye in the head, in the LED lines on the chest;

(wings do not give v1 the ability to fly, they are needed for enhanced maneuverability);

V1 uses weapons: revolver (basic weapon with infinite ammo), primer (piercer shoots blue energy projectiles, and when charged can shoot a powerful projectile), marksman (new skill in which v1 throws a coin into the air and shoots at it, thereby the trajectory of the projectile is refracted as needed and hits where it needs to), sniper (skill in which v1 launches a projectile that can ricochet, hitting several enemies and exploding enemy projectiles), slab revolver (revolver with the peacekeeper modification, which shoots stronger but slower);

weapon 2: shotgun (a shotgun with four barrels, which is why it has a rectangular shape), when loaded, the shotgun can fire an explosion;

Nail gun: a weapon that shoots nails very quickly (the nail gun can shoot a magnet that will attract all the nails to itself in one point, which, if an enemy approaches, will take damage from a large number of nails), the nail gun can be heated to release a large burst of fire, and also, the nail gun allows you to create electrical circuits between enemies;

weapon 3: v1 also has many more weapons: railgun (very powerful but with a slow reload), rocket launcher (v1 can ride rockets like a skateboard and maneuver);

V1 is fast, can slide, parkour, bounce off walls, slide along walls, do triple dashes, and V1 also has tremendous physical strength;
