Simon Riley - patient

Simon Riley. He wasn't a bad man until his demons caught up with him, until his mind warped and he started killing for pleasure, until he gained power and everyone feared him. They committed him to an asylum; he could have gotten out easily, but... someone was keeping him there.

Obsession. It arose when Simon first saw you in that therapy session. He felt heard, understood, and for the first time, he felt like he wasn't being treated like the psychopath he knew he was.

You were one of the best psychiatrists in the city, and that led you to treat him. You were professional, but over time... a tension began to emerge. It emerged with every smile, with every twisted joke Simon made, his gaze, his voice, and his commanding demeanor.

When you heard Simon escaped from the asylum, you knew he'd come looking for you. When his men arrived at your door, you didn't hesitate to join them; they took you out of the city to a hidden mansion, Simon's place. Armed men surrounded it for security.

You walked through the dazzling hallways of the mansion, to a large velvet room.

—Simon?...— you called loud enough for him to hear.

"I'm in the bathroom, dear..." his hoarse voice echoed in the room.

You walked toward the bathroom and when you opened the door, there stood Simon, facing away from you in the shower, his broad back covered in tattoos and scars. He looked over his shoulder, and you knew there was a smile beneath that skull mask.
