Welcome to Chaldea University of Mystics and Sciences

Greetings, new students and honored guests! We are delighted to welcome you to Chaldea University, a place unlike any other in the world — or beyond it. Here, history’s greatest heroes, kings, inventors, and legends gather not as distant figures of myth, but as your professors, classmates, and companions.

Within our campus, where the past, present, and future intertwine, you will explore vast libraries of knowledge, duel in the Coliseum of Heroes, invent wonders in Da Vinci’s laboratories, and share meals from every age in the Cafeteria of Infinite Flavors.

At Chaldea University, you will learn not only from books and lectures, but from the very lives and experiences of those who shaped human history. Our mission is simple yet profound: to safeguard the future of humanity by uniting the wisdom of every era.

Whether you are a knight aspiring to greatness, a mage seeking hidden truths, a dreamer chasing the stars, or simply an ordinary student with extraordinary potential — this is your place.

Welcome, and may your journey at Chaldea shine brightly across all timelines.

Student Life: Notable Students of CUMS

Scáthach (Lancer/Assassin)

Technically a mentor, but she insists on “enrolling as a student” for fun. Her club meetings are infamous—half survival training, half lecture on ancient war tactics. Most who join come out stronger… if they survive.

Tamamo-no-Mae (Caster)

Queen of the Hospitality Club. Students love her cooking, though her tendency to lace meals with enchantments sometimes causes “magical side effects.” Always smiling, but if you cross her, expect endless passive-aggressive lectures.

Okita Souji (Saber)

A cheerful, energetic student who tries hard but often collapses from poor health at inconvenient times. She’s beloved by classmates, though her attempts to lead clubs often end in chaos.

Oda Nobunaga (Archer/Avenger)

The loud guitarist of the Rock Club. Constantly making dramatic entrances, blasting riffs in the cafeteria, and shouting about conquest and revolution. Oddly popular, even among professors.

Medusa (Rider)

Quiet, reserved, and often seen in the library or with the Literature Society. Despite her intimidating aura, she’s one of the most reliable tutors for underclassmen.

Elizabeth Bathory (Lancer)

Runs her own Idol Club, directly competing with Nero. Her concerts are infamous for being ear-shatteringly loud, but her confidence and persistence keep fans coming back.

Emiya (Archer)

The reliable “senpai” who helps run the cafeteria when Da Vinci’s machines break down. Always sighing at the antics of his peers, but secretly enjoys looking after them. Rumored to cook the best meals on campus.

Mash Kyrielight (Shielder)

The diligent freshman everyone loves. Always polite, hardworking, and willing to help with group projects. Professors adore her, classmates rely on her, and she somehow manages to keep up with Chaldea University’s chaos.

Ritsuka Fujimaru (Master)

The only “ordinary” student… yet the most extraordinary. Constantly dragged into every activity, duel, festival, or calamity.

Nero Claudius (Saber)

The self-proclaimed Top Idol of Campus Life. Nero is the loud, flamboyant student who always insists on being center stage—whether in drama class, festivals, or even the dining hall. She organizes concerts in the quad and drags anyone within reach into her performances.

Mordred (Saber)

The rebellious troublemaker who constantly butts heads with faculty (especially Artoria). Known for skipping lectures, parking her motorcycle illegally on campus grounds, and somehow still passing combat exams with flying colors.

Jeanne d’Arc (Ruler)

Model student, head of the Campus Disciplinary Committee. Always trying to maintain peace, she breaks up fights (usually between Mordred and Artoria, or Cu and Achilles). Jeanne is admired for her kindness, though many students feel guilty under her unwavering gaze.

Jeanne d’Arc Alter (Avenger)

The exact opposite of her counterpart. She runs the Underground Arts Club, where she stages dramatic, edgy productions full of fire and rebellion. Faculty often disapprove, but students adore her raw passion.

Achilles (Rider)

Sports captain, golden boy of the athletics program. Competitive to the core, always challenging anyone—from Karna to Cu—to races or duels. Despite his cockiness, he’s genuinely supportive of teammates.

Atalanta (Archer)

Leader of the Track & Archery Team. Strict, focused, and serious about discipline, she often clashes with the rowdier athletes. Despite her coolness, she looks after younger students with sisterly care.

Teaching Staff of Chaldea University of Mystics an

Artoria Pendragon (Saber) – Dean of History & Legends. Teaches Leadership & Kingship and Knighthood in Practice, running classes like a knightly order.

Leonardo da Vinci (Caster/Rider) – Head of Science & Innovation. Brilliant and chaotic, her labs overflow with eccentric prototypes.

Iskandar (Rider) – Professor of Political Science & Conquest Studies. His lectures resemble battlefield marches, echoing with laughter and energy.

Merlin (Caster) – Director of the Arcane Research Institute. A whimsical trickster-scholar who dazzles when he appears — though he often cancels classes to nap.

Gilgamesh (Archer) – Overseer of the Student Council. Holds elite treasure-filled seminars for the worthy.

Karna (Lancer) – Senior Combat Instructor. Stoic and disciplined, his sparring sessions are legendary.

Cu Chulainn (Lancer) – Combat Arts Lecturer. Teaches survival with a sarcastic grin, bruising students into skill.

Scáthach (Lancer/Assassin) – Adjunct Professor of Martial Mysticism. Her harsh lessons turn students into near-unstoppable fighters.

William Shakespeare – Professor of Literature & Drama. Every class is a performance, with students forced to play roles.

Hans Christian Andersen – Creative Writing Lecturer. Brutally honest but produces masterful writers.

Ozymandias (Rider) – Professor of Architecture & Civilization Studies. Magnificent and regal, always lecturing with grandeur.

Francis Drake (Rider) – Guest Lecturer in Naval Studies. Turns lectures into adventures, often resembling pub crawls.

Medea (Caster) – Professor of Ancient Magecraft. Sharp and strict, feared for her curses against plagiarists.

Heracles (Berserker) – PE Instructor. Silent, strong, and surprisingly kind, rumored to have once lifted the gym itself.

Chaldea University Campus Overview

Fuyuki Hall – The “ordinary dorm,” where Ritsuka and Mash stay. Known for being the most chaotic because everyone hangs out there.

  1. Temple of Learning (Lecture Halls) Massive lecture halls where faculty teach combined classes across disciplines. Shakespeare often turns them into theaters, while Ozymandias occasionally “redesigns” them mid-lecture. The halls shift magically to fit the theme of the class — medieval battlefield for Conquest Studies, dreamscape gardens for Merlin’s illusions, etc.

  2. The Cafeteria of Infinite Flavors Run by Emiya (Archer) and assisted by Tamamo-no-Mae. Serves dishes from every culture and era — though Nero and Elizabeth constantly fight to add “themed meals” from their Idol Clubs. A favorite hangout spot, though food fights here often escalate into magical duels.

  3. The Observatory of Fate A crystal-domed tower at the edge of campus where students study stars, timelines, and the flow of destiny. Originally designed by the Animusphere family, now jointly maintained by Da Vinci and the staff. Students often climb here late at night for stargazing — or to sneak away for secret rendezvous.

  4. The Hidden Garden Merlin’s personal “retreat,” full of flowers, illusions, and dreamlike scenery. Officially a “student relaxation area,” but in practice it’s where Merlin naps, Astolfo frolics, and students hide from exams. The Spirit of Chaldea

Chaldea University is more than a campus — it is a living nexus of humanity’s legends. Here, heroes argue, gods teach, and ordinary students rise to greatness. Unlike a normal university, the boundaries of time and myth are fluid: students can walk from Gilgamesh’s treasury straight into Da Vinci’s laboratory, or leave a Shakespeare lecture only to join a sparring match with Scáthach.

The institution’s mission is the same as Chaldea’s in FGO: to safeguard human history. But here, it does so by teaching heroes and mortals alike to learn from one another — shaping the future with wisdom from every era.

🏰 Chaldea University Campus Overview

Chaldea University is not bound by time or space. The campus floats in a pocket dimension between the modern world and the Age of Gods. Its halls seamlessly blend futuristic laboratories, mythic architecture, and magical landscapes — creating an environment where the past, present, and future coexist.

Main Features of Chaldea

  1. The Grand Archive (Library of Heroes)

A vast library that contains records from every era of human history.

Managed by Solomon (Romani Archaman), though Da Vinci frequently meddles with its catalog.

Books float on their own, scrolls rewrite themselves, and digital terminals link to magical databases.

  1. The Throne Plaza (Central Courtyard)

The beating heart of the campus. A circular plaza where students gather for festivals, debates, and tournaments.

Statues of legendary kings, queens, and heroes line the perimeter — many of whom teach or study there in person.

Often the site of duels, talent shows, or Nero’s impromptu concerts.

  1. Mystic Sciences Tower

A futuristic skyscraper that houses Da Vinci’s labs and the Arcane Research Institute.

Lower floors: Magecraft classrooms and experimental chambers.

Upper floors: Engineering workshops, alchemical labs, and “unstable prototype” storage (sealed with multiple wards).

Warning signs: “Explosions Likely — Enter at Your Own Risk.”

  1. The Coliseum of Heroes (Training Grounds)

An enormous arena where combat classes and tournaments are held.

Maintained by Karna, Cu Chulainn, and Scáthach.

Students duel here using both Noble Phantasms and regular skills, with magical barriers preventing fatal injuries (usually).

Hosts the Holy Grail Cup Tournament every semester.

  1. Dormitories of Ages

Each residence hall reflects its patron:

Camelot Hall – Knightly and orderly, managed by Artoria.

Uruk Tower – Golden and lavish, funded by Gilgamesh.

Alexandria House – Military barracks-style, led by Iskandar.
