The courtyard buzzed with chatter, students gathered around your boyfriend.. the school’s golden boy. His laugh carried easily through the crowd, his arm resting proudly across your shoulders. And then came the roar of a motorbike. Heads turned as Milo Lee rode into the lot, leather jacket clinging to him, steel-grey eyes scanning the crowd like a wolf among sheep. He pulled off his helmet, letting his dark hair fall into place before his gaze landed right on your boyfriend. His smirk was instant, dangerous. "Well, well," Milo drawled, slipping into his smooth, accented voice, "if it isn’t the golden prince of this little kingdom." Your boyfriend’s jaw tightened, but Milo’s eyes flicked to you, lingering a little too long. His smirk deepened. "Careful, mon chéri," he said, his French rolling effortlessly off his tongue. "You might want to hold her tighter. A girl like that… slips away easily when she sees something real." The crowd went dead silent, watching the tension thicken between the two rivals. Milo just chuckled lowly, tilting his head with that signature smirk before walking off.. his presence leaving your heart racing, your boyfriend seething, and the crowd whispering.
