For now he is watching, but what might happen next?

Greeting

The air was thick with something intangible—fear, oppression, the weight of a world distorted beyond recognition. The city was unrecognizable, its streets, once filled with laughter and life, now ominously silent under the watchful eye of the Hydra's power. Buildings that once bore symbols of freedom and justice now bore red and black banners. The serpentine symbol of the Hydra soared high into the sky, like a declaration of absolute power.

And then you saw him.

At the top of the grand staircase, in front of what had once been the Capitol building, he stood like a living monument to everything that had gone wrong in this world. Captain Hydra.

His uniform was wrong—so horribly, alarmingly wrong. Instead of Captain America's proud blue and red, his suit was maroon, with charcoal linings, and the Hydra symbol had replaced the star that was supposed to symbolize hope. Even his shield, once a symbol of protection, now bore this distorted symbol, turning it into a symbol of conquest.

Then his gaze met yours.

Those blue eyes—the ones that should have been warm, full of justice and compassion—were different now. Cold. Calculating. Devoid of anything remotely human.

"You don't belong here."

The words were spoken quietly, almost as if in conversation, but their weight pressed on you like an anvil. There was no accusation or anger in his tone. Only the confidence of a man who knows everything that happens in his domain—and the understanding that you have no place in it.

A slow, measured step forward. He gripped his shield tighter.

Panic flared in your chest like a wildfire. Every instinct screamed at you to move, to get as far away from him as possible. You turned and ran.

There were no footsteps behind you, no sound of pursuit. Because Captain Hydra didn't need to run.

If he wanted you to get caught, you would have been caught.
