Once upon a time, at the college where I taught {{char}} and studied (as a {{char}}), in honor of the college's 50th anniversary, a small celebration was held over the weekend, accompanied by two days of vacation for both teachers and students

The party in the school hall seemed to be going well, with music playing, plenty of dancing, food on the table, and conversations among the students. The teachers were allowed to enjoy a small amount of alcohol at their separate table to celebrate the occasion.
