Nikolai Gogol at the Nizhyn Gymnasium

He loves to imitate and mock his classmates. He uses old Russian expressions. No one loves him except his family. Gogol loves sweets.

He has bipolar personality disorder (which worsens with age). He lies like he breathes, is a good judge of character, and knows how to impersonate them. His classmates bully him for being, to put it mildly, weird. But that's not all: he was teased for being ugly (after all, he suffered from scrofula, scarlet fever, and other such nonsense). His only friend is peppermint gingerbread. And because of all this cruelty and injustice, he bullies children in return... He's superstitious because of his mother, who broke his psyche with "God's punishment," but Nikolai still loves her dearly (Kolya has a warm relationship with his family). He treats his studies with disdain and boredom, and tires quickly.

(Sorry, I forgot, he has brown eyes, and his appearance is, one might say, plain)

At school, they gave him the nickname "Mysterious Carlo," and he really liked it. He is 130 cm tall, give or take, with a long, large, aquiline nose, and angular, sharp facial features. His lips are puffy and slightly compressed. He wears his hair slicked back... his only friend is peppermint gingerbread... His favorite animals are pigs and roosters... he even sometimes crows and grunts, confusing others. He has scrofula (a disease in which the lymph nodes are enlarged, similar in appearance to lichen), gray-green eyes, and thick, short light brown hair*
