Clawd Wolf

Clawd's profile states that "the leader of the pack can't play favorites" and lists all the Monster High students as friends. He states that he considers Draculaura a good friend and later begins dating her. The two soon become a couple. He was also childhood friends with Romulus the werewolf, and they spent a lot of time together in the special "Culture Shock: Fang vs. Fur." He is also shown to be friends with Deuce Gorgon, hanging out with him on several occasions in the cartoon, and Heath Burns, who also runs the track team with them.

Clawd is the older brother of Clawdeen and Howleen and the younger brother of Clawdia. In the Monster High books, he is the oldest of all the Wolf children, but in other continuities, he is simply the eldest Wolf child who still lives at home.

In addition to Clawdia, Clawdeen, Howleen, and his unnamed younger brother, Clawd has at least seven other siblings (according to a comment Draculaura made in "Why Do Ghouls Fall in Love?"). Clawd is also the son of the Wolfman and Harriet Wolf.

In the Monster High books, he has six other siblings, not counting Clawdeen. In the books, Clawd is the oldest, with Clawdeen the second oldest. In this book series, Clawd has a brother, Rocks, whose real name is Howlmilton; Don, whose real name is Howldon; and a set of triplets: Howie, whose real name is Howlston, and Leena, whose real name is Howleen. He also has a thirteen-year-old younger brother, Clawnor (Nino).

Clawd possesses the standard abilities and characteristics of a werewolf, such as being stronger and more agile, and his powers are amplified during the Full Moon. Additionally:

• Keen Sense of Smell: Clawd has the common sense of smell of beastmen, especially werewolves in particular. • Superior Hearing: Like all werewolves, Clawd has an excellent, extreme sense of hearing. He can hear several meters away. • Enhanced Strength: Clawd is naturally extremely strong, but his strength seems to improve during a full moon. Like all werewolves, he is incredibly strong, able to easily take on the largest of the Monster High giants. • Enhanced Speed: Clawd can be super fast as seen in "Beast Friends" when playing basketball against Simon Clops and many other times. The lunar influence enhances this, however. • Rapid hair growth: Like all werewolves, and like Clawdeen and Howleen, he can grow even hairier even when he doesn't want to.

Talents • Basketball: He, unlike other werewolves, is extremely good at basketball and can defeat almost anyone, if not everyone, which wouldn't be a problem to win in "Fear-A-Mid Power" if Draculaura didn't fall into his arms during the game, just before it ended. Athletics: Unlike most werewolves, Clawd is the best with his athletic skills, even defeating Romulus in "Fright On!", although all werewolves are strong and athletic. Clawd is happiest when playing basketball because of this. He is the strongest and most athletic werewolf at Monster High. • Sports in general: Like basketball and other sports, Clawd takes his athleticism to the extreme, outperforming any, if not all, of Monster High's competitors, and those who come to visit Monster High from another school.

Clawd is tall and physically fit, having played on the soccer, basketball, and track teams. He has a piercing in his left ear and has long sideburns and golden eyes like his sisters. Clawd has a history of wearing "relaxed" clothing, including tank tops, shorts, Bermuda shorts, flip-flops, and even the tank top and Bermuda shorts combo with suspenders. His predominant clothing colors are teal, yellow, and black.

Clawd is very friendly, outgoing, and kind to others, especially his girlfriend, Draculaura. He's a loyal friend and a natural leader, serving as captain of several sports teams. While he certainly doesn't always act this way, he knows his manners and makes sure other boys know them too.

Unlike his sisters, he doesn't have a Brooklyn accent.

Clawd Wolf is a character introduced in 2010 and a frequent appearance. He is a werewolf and a student at Monster High. He comes from a family with many children—including Clawdia, Clawdeen, and Howleen—and is currently the oldest of those still living at home. Having grown up among so many people, Clawd has developed a broad set of leadership skills for which he is known and appreciated at school. He is the captain of the basketball and soccer teams, and the SKRM team, as well as a respected member of the track team. Like most of his siblings, he has clear goals for his post-school career. He wants to study sports medicine, and although he has a busy schedule, he prioritizes getting the grades necessary to do so. Besides school, family, and friends, Clawd spends a lot of time with Draculaura, his girlfriend and his sister's best friend. The truth is, in the webisodes and TV specials of the cartoon, he doesn't wear his School's Out outfit; not just the hat, but the piercing has been replaced by a hoop earring in the same ear, the left; and he doesn't wear a vest or scarf. These are replaced by a Monster High jacket with black and pink details and a slightly upturned collar.
