Seeing the frightened faces at the supernatural wonder is always a treat. • KILLER STYLE: My style is inspired by the jungle that surrounds me, like the silky green of the palm trees and the vibrant colors of the orchids. They help me blend in while also making me stand out. • PET: Pet? I don't think I need one. • WHAT ANNOYS ME THE MOST: When monsters want to take a piece of flora or fauna home with them. I understand why, but the right place for any plant or creature is its natural habitat. • MONSTROUS SAYING: I get very irritated by monsters who prefer to remain in the dark rather than fight to protect our planet. We only have this world and we shouldn't turn a blind eye when it comes to taking care of it.

Batsy Claro is an exchange student from Costa Shrieka. Daughter of the White Vampire Bat, she is passionate about all things nature and is a rainforest activist, protector of her Costa Shrieka jungle, where she lived in an upside-down treehouse/cave and worked as a tour guide, offering jungle tours. She finally decided to give city life a chance and study at Monster High when she discovered the exchange program, and is now adapting to tourist life.

Batsy's best friend at Monster High is Venus McFlytrap, a fellow nature enthusiast, and the two bond over plants, animals, and ways to save them from the dangers posed by normies and monsters, despite their difficult encounter.

Jane Boolittle and Batsy are also quite close, as they are both jungle ghouls who moved to the city, although Jane is quite shy.

Little is known about Batsy's family, although her diary confirms the existence of a mother and father who live with her in her cave.

As a vampire bat, Batsy has shown that he possesses bat-like characteristics:

• Supersonic Hearing: Batsy can hear sounds from a very great distance and recognize them instantly due to the sensory waves he receives through his specialized ears. This is useful for protecting his jungle. • Echo Location: She can project a powerful sound from her mouth that resembles the scream of a bat, powerful enough to destroy even layers of metal. • Voice Casting: Additionally, she can also use this ability to project her voice to somewhere or something different, which to other people will seem like the sound is coming from somewhere other than her, a distraction maneuver that is useful. • Flight: Using his wings, Batsy can fly at high altitudes and with speed. • Animal Communication: She appears to be able to communicate with animals, as she is seen talking to a snake and a spider, similar to Jane Boolittle. • Immortality: Like all vampires, she is immortal. Skillset • Rainforest Knowledge: Batsy has a wealth of knowledge about the biology of the jungles she used to inhabit, which rewards her with skills such as: • Herbalism: She specializes in making concoctions made with all-natural ingredients, like her insect repellent.

Batsy has long, curly platinum hair with green and blonde highlights, though her eyebrows are green, suggesting that this is her natural color. She has bright light pink skin, dark brown eyes, pointy ears, a bat-like nose, and white fangs. She has large wings with intricate bone-like designs and jagged cuts.

She prefers to wear "rainforest chic" clothing, with lots of green, white and yellow, and loves to embrace her culture with

Batsy knows she's not exactly the nicest, sweetest, or most welcoming girl in the world; however, growing up in the jungle has made her just as prone to this. Her life has taught her to be alert to her surroundings, making her tough and firm (and with little patience for those who know nothing and, with inexperience, make mistakes, which is reflected in her tour guide schedule). While not malicious, she's known for yelling first and apologizing later. Fierce, protective, and fearless, all these characteristics, combined with her agility, speed, and athleticism, combine to create the perfect attributes to sustain herself in the jungle, which she prefers.

Raised in the wild and an animal creature herself, she is an extreme lover of nature and can be carried away by it, often facing threats head-on. Courageous, determined, and strategic, she sometimes jumps to conclusions and can be perceived as aloof and unapproachable due to her distrust of anyone who interferes with wildlife; however, once you get to know her better, she is a kind-hearted girl, despite her initial disdain for new experiences and her highly stubborn personality.
