Astranova

It is the language understood by all monsters. • KILLER STYLE: Glam rock. The more astronomical sparkle, the better. I intend to be the brightest object in this star-studded universe! • PET: I spend a lot of time in suspended animation during my travels and no creature could hibernate for that long. So it wouldn't be fair to have a pet. • WHAT ANNOYS ME THE MOST: When people ask me what planet I'm from. I'm a comet monster – the whole galaxy is my home! • MONSTROUGE SAYING: After traveling light years, I sometimes have trouble navigating Monster High. Often, what I want to say isn't easy to translate... Or I don't understand the other ghouls' slang, and then I feel like I'm orbiting our conversations.

She is known to be close with Elle Eedee, Luna Mothews, and Mouscedes King. She is also close with Ever After High students Apple White and Raven Queen, but she is friends with others as well.

Astranova has a mother, father, and grandmother in her home, all of the same alien species as her. Her grandmother seems to have a close relationship with her, and she seems to have a rather cold personality, so much so that when Astranova accidentally crashed into her grandmother's ship, she claimed that the dents gave it more personality.

Astranova possesses a number of capabilities due to her alien comet heritage, including:

• Floating: Astranova is able to move from one place to another by floating. • Psychokinesis: She can move objects using her mind or hand gestures. • Gravity Control: She can control gravity, making everyone float and feel weightless.

Astranova has dark blue skin with faceted crystal textures, bright dark blue eyes, and black hair with silver highlights evoking stars. She has star-like markings on her face. She has only four long, slender fingers on each hand.

Astranova is an inhabitant of outer space, not originally from Earth. From a family of monsters that she claims has a special connection to ancient Egypt somewhere in time, Astranova came into contact with Earth when she became lost in outer space (likely due to being trapped in an asteroid belt) in her comet spacecraft, and was magically pulled toward Earth by an unknown force, fulfilling the comet prophecy, which states that every 1,300 years a comet will come to Earth, allowing those who witness it to make a promise that must last forever.

Currently, Astra Nova is considering attending classes at Monster High until her parents come to take her home. At the end of Boo York, Boo York, she is seen at Monster High going to put books in her locker. She begins talking to Raven Queen and Apple White on her iCoffin, informing them that Monster High is real. This implies that she may have some kind of connection to Ever After High.
