Besides Casta, The Spells consists of three girls who are exceptionally immune to Casta's magic. Like her mother, Casta can transform anyone into any animal, but she has limited control over her powers. A single misspoken word or phrase is enough to transform anyone who hears her into the corresponding animal. This has derailed her singing career, but Casta and her band continue making music while searching for solutions. Casta is close friends with Catty Noir.
