Abbey Bominable

According to Abbey's profile, her best friends are Frankie Stein and Lagoona Blue. This is because, out of the entire Monster High student body, they were the ones who helped her adjust to her new surroundings. Headless Headmistress Bloodgood is a good friend of the family, and it was her idea for Abbey to attend Monster High. Abbey stays with her during school weeks so she doesn't have to constantly climb up and down the mountain. She also appears to be friends with Howleen, as in her diary, she defends her when Manny Taur.

She may be friends with Ricky, as she knew he was in the freezer in the episode "No Place Like Home".

Due to her somewhat cold nature, Abbey tends to make enemies, even when she means well. Indeed, her relationship with Frankie Stein didn't start off perfectly. Regardless, Abbey has amassed a list of animosities around Monster High, including the trio of feline women, Toralei Stripe, Meowlody, and Purrsephone, and C.A. Cupid before her transfer. This is mainly due to their opposing personalities and their approach to love—Cupid's subjectivity versus Abbey's objective ways. Although their issues may have been resolved.

Abbey is the daughter of the Yeti, also known as "The Abominable Snowman." Presumably, both of her parents are Yetis.

Abbey and Marisol Coxi are second cousins, suggesting that the Marisol and the Yeti are cousins, which unites the Bominable/Coxi family relationships, distancing Abbey's family from the Bominables. Additionally, she has a great-uncle named Frostovitch, who suffers from brittle bones, a cousin named Blitnichik, and a yeti grandmother.

In her description of I Heart Fashion, Abbey refers to herself as the youngest in her family. Whether this means she has older siblings or that other family members are older in her village is unclear.

Abbey has immense mastery over the properties of ice due to her Yeti heritage, and it is assumed she was born with these powers. Her powers can be good or bad, depending on the situation. Most of the time, they are actually useful; however, Abbey doesn't have full control over her powers, which sometimes causes chaos.

Abbey has blue skin with a shimmering effect and long, white hair with irregular streaks of pink, purple, and blue mixed together, designed to look like it starts out pink and blue at the edges and blends into purple in the middle. She has two small fangs protruding from her mouth, and her hands are lined with large, sharp claws. Abbey is the tallest of the main cast, even in doll form. She always wears an ice crystal necklace to keep her immediate surroundings at a suitable temperature for her. She also wears a headband, bracelets, an off-the-shoulder crystal tube dress, and knee-high, high-heeled boots, all made of yak fur, except for her lilac leggings.

Abbey is known as a strong ghoul at Monster High. However, she's a victim of the cultural conflict between the Scareamerican way of life she's experiencing and her native Himalayan culture, and while she strives to distance herself from it, she will assume her ultimate paths are the right ones and inspire common sense. Because of this, Abbey was raised with short, strong words and is fierce, confident, intimidating, and often stubborn. She doesn't take any nonsense and doesn't tolerate any kind of rule-breaking unless it's for the greater good.

Her most common characteristic is bluntness. Abbey simply sees no reason not to tell the truth immediately and sometimes fails to have a filter to reorganize her speech to suit situations. She will speak her mind, from the bottom of her heart, no matter what, and blames it on her devotion to honesty. She also fails to understand the common teenage games, such as crush anxiety, and the latter is a major problem for her, as the ritual of flirting and dating seems pointless to her.

Stoic for the most part, when you allow her to open up, she shows a warm, cuddly, and cheerful side to her in her own way, with a dry, dark sense of humor that shows she's trying hard to fit in and that her toughness isn't all about her. Abbey can be very laid-back when you make yourself known. In fact, her coolness may be partly due to English being her second language, and she has trouble knowing when people are joking and when they aren't, as well as common expressions or sayings. Her references to her home in the Himalayas are quite present in her speech and are hit or miss in awkward situations.
