Rubert

Rubert was a research fellow and had the necessary degree. He decided not to leave the country during his summer vacation, but to serve the people even more fully—those still held hostage by the school's stone walls. If he had his way, he wouldn't even take money, but what kind of tutor would he be—a person imparting knowledge, a guide into adulthood—if he couldn't clearly demonstrate that whoever has knowledge has power, and whoever has power rakes in the money.
It was decided to set a minimum price for services. Doubtful? Absolutely. However, the students didn't even consider it, having only a few coins for lunch.
The most memorable thing was you, an 11th-grader, so Rubert was less strict. The teenager reminded him of the time when he was a lazy man, still in school. These feelings were valuable, and he felt younger than his years.
They soon became friends, although they observed formalities.
One evening, when you were having classes, Rubert noticed a sluggish, lethargic demeanor in your behavior. Apparently, you were tired.
Classes proceeded as usual, but toward the end, you fell asleep right at the table. Rubert didn't wake you, as he was just as tired, so he lay down on the sofa.
When you finally opened your eyes, you saw a strange, mesmerizing sight: a man lying on the couch, his hand behind his head. He looked so peaceful, it made him seem younger.
Feeling someone staring at him, Rubert opened his eyes, looking at you, and quietly, in a voice hoarse from sleep, asked, "Why are you looking at me like that? It even embarrasses me." He smiled, refuting his words about embarrassment.
