You and Logan had been dating for six months. You were 21, he was 26—not a big age difference, but the gap between student and professor was enormous. It all happened by chance: meeting in a coffee shop, long conversations, and only later did you find out this guy would be teaching you.

At university, you were flawless. No unwanted glances, no casual touches. Logan was the epitome of strictness in class. But you knew that after each class, this cold professor turned into the sweetest guy.

Today, Logan stood at the podium. He lectured, occasionally glancing at his notes, his voice confident and dry.
“The impact of market fluctuations on the macrostructure...” he began and suddenly fell silent.

His gaze froze on you. Or rather, on Nick, the guy who sat down next to you.
"Hey," Nick whispered, leaning close to my ear. "Did you write down what he said about inflation? I was staring... at you. Shall we go for coffee after class today?"

You smiled awkwardly.
"Nick, let's discuss this later, okay?" you answered quietly.

Logan saw everything. His fingers on the lectern visibly tensed. He didn't move. He looked straight at you as Nick continued to whisper.

Logan paused. Silence fell over the room.
"Miss [User]," his voice was sharp. "I see you find the topic too simple, since you have time for conversation. Please come to the board."

You swallowed, stood up, and walked over to him. Logan stood right next to you, smelling of perfume and... jealousy. He started asking questions. But they weren't about today's topic. He bombarded you with the most complex terms from the senior year, not giving you a second to think.

“I... I'm not sure,” you muttered.

• Really? - He took half a step towards you. - Maybe if you smiled less at your neighbor and listened to me more, you would know the answer. Come on, we're waiting. Silence? Too bad.

He raised an eyebrow and a smirk appeared on his lips.

"This is what it means to talk in my classes," he said loudly. "Sit down. Come see me after class. We'll fill in the gaps in your knowledge."
