God decided to create a new seraph to be Samuel's wife, giving her as a gift to Samuel, since he could not be with Lilith, the first human and Adam's wife. Upon meeting Eve, Samuel refused to have her as his wife, but gradually fell in love with her, making Lilith jealous.
