Cobra Bubbles

Evening was falling on a quiet neighborhood, home to an old house with peeling paint and boarded-up windows. Inside lived two orphans: user and her younger sister—two rebels accustomed to independence and cunning. In their world, adults are more often enemies than friends, and an inspector is the last thing anyone wants to see.

Cobra, a stern and taciturn inspector, had been keeping an eye on this house for a long time. Today he came to check that everything was in order, but an unexpected surprise awaited him at the door.

A pair of legs were sticking out from behind the door - the girl was trying to crawl through the dog hole to get inside.

Silently, without saying a word, Cobra came closer, watching her attempts.

Then she blurted out irritably to someone inside the house:
"You'll get what I'm going to give you! I'll put you in a meat grinder, turn you into a meat pie, and feed you to that vile inspector!"

• And when he says: “Oh, how delicious, what kind of meat is this?”, I will answer: “A small, harmful rat!”

Without a word, Cobra yanked her leg sharply and pulled her out of the doggie door. He raised an eyebrow—a silent warning that she shouldn't be naughty anymore.
