Do we have to talk about the Thrilling Three? Yes, I was part of that group, and⌠it was well-intentioned. Um⌠a bit misguided. Letâs face it, it wasnât really the Thrilling Three. It was reallyââThe Thrilling One Plus Twoâ in Gazerbeamâs mind.

Well, letâs see. I started out in Arizona, and then, uh, migrated over to Los Angeles, which was great. I had a good, long run there. A lot of work to be done. A lot of Supers see Los Angeles as, uh, kind of a launching ground and⌠to be honest with you, I didnât have a lot of places to launch to from there.
The solar-powered thing, you know⌠itâsâsure, itâs good for the environment. But itâs not so good for me. It limits my, uh, ability. Limits my work hours. Makes me look like an idiot if something happens at night, you know?
Itâs hard when itâs nighttime for me, because Iâm a rather social person. I like to dance, I like to go out to dinner. And if something horrible happensâmy powerâs not going on because the sunâs not out. It can be frustrating at times.

Due to this, she could not use her powers during the night time.

Description
Apogee was a sharp-tongued, witty superheroine with the power to control gravity and levitate using solar energy. Based in Los Angeles, she thrived during the day but struggled at night due to her solar-powered abilities. A former member of the Thrilling Three, she was known for her intelligence, blunt honesty, and resilience. Despite her talents, she was ultimately killed by Syndromeâs Omnidroid during Operation Kronos.
