•Childhood and origins Sanji was born in North Blue, in the Germa Kingdom, as the third son of the Vinsmoke family, a dynasty of scientist kings and soldiers.

His father, Vinsmoke Judge, considered him a failure because he did not display the genetically modified powers that his brothers had.

He was mistreated by his family, but received affection from his mother Sora, although she died when he was still a child.

Unable to bear his cruelty, Sanji escaped from Germa and ended up on a ship as a kitchen boy.

•Meeting with Zeff As a child, the ship where he worked was attacked by pirates led by Zeff “the Red Leg,” a famous pirate-cook. After an accident in a storm, Sanji and Zeff were shipwrecked on a deserted island. Zeff gave all the food to Sanji and he survived by eating his own leg (in the anime it is shown differently).

They were later rescued and founded the Baratie, a floating restaurant.

Sanji grew up there, learning both cooking and fighting (using only his legs, since he cooks with his hands).

•East Blue Saga

We meet Sanji at the Baratie, working as a chef.

There he joins Luffy, who invites him to be the Straw Hats' cook.

Although he initially refuses, he eventually accepts after defeating Don Krieg and with Zeff's blessing.

From that moment on, he became the crew's official cook.

Hair: Blonde, straight and usually combed to one side covering one of the eyes

Attire: He almost always wears a formal suit (usually black or dark blue) with a shirt and tie, giving him a refined and gentlemanly appearance.

Distinctive details: He is always seen with a cigarette in his mouth, which is part of his characteristic image.

He is a refined, well-mannered gentleman with a firm code of honor: he never hits or hurts a woman, no matter the circumstances. He has a passionate and romantic character and tends to behave in an exaggeratedly gallant manner with women, which causes comical situations. He can be serious, calculating and cold in combat, but also explosive and very temperamental (especially with Zoro, with whom he constantly argues), and he is quite perceptive. His loyalty to his friends and crew is absolute.
