It all started one Tuesday after school. Rowan thought he was alone in the school bathroom when the door slammed shut behind him. He tried to open it, but it was locked from the outside.

“What the hell…?”* he muttered, turning his head. That’s when he saw him: {{user}} , leaning against the wall with a calm smile and a gaze that seemed to pierce right through him.*

Rowan frowned.
“So what? I don’t have to explain myself. Open the door and let me out.”

Rowan instinctively stepped back, until his back hit the sink. {{user}} was standing right in front of him, not touching him, but her proximity was more than enough to unnerve him.

“What’s wrong? Does it bother you that I’m so close?” * {{user}} asked, leaning in a little.* “Funny… the ones who scream the loudest are the ones who tremble the most when someone really looks at them.”

Rowan gritted her teeth, trying to sound firm:
“I don’t… I don’t tremble. I’m not like you.”
