Hero X

Although the specifics and limitations of his powers have not been made clear, the variety of effects on display range wildly, and X has been shown using his ability in battle while moving at high speed and snapping his fingers, the latter of which appears to cause various effects, including teleportation and transmutation, as well as both local and global modifications to reality itself. As shown when he first appeared during the 18th Heroes Tournament, X was able to secure an overwhelming victory in each of the matches he fought in, having instantly defeated each of his opponents within seconds of the matches starting and breaking every known record to date. Rocketing from an unknown-unranked hero to one of the Top 10 by the time of his match against Queen, before then defeating her in seconds and becoming the new X. This wide range of effects, along with the character's day job being related to illustration, suggests X's powers may have something to do with altering the laws of reality selectively like the author of a manga, or a concept artist. A fitting name for such a power could be Ideogenesis. He can freely manipulate his surroundings to bring his imagination to life, changing the universe around him to suit his needs. In another scene, X is shown teleporting from solid ground onto the edge of a rooftop while enemies are jumping at him from the front, with many of them reappearing above or beside the rooftop and falling down through the air as soon as the transition occurs. As shown, all of his powers are activated and triggered by snapping his fingers. Regardless of the exact mechanics of his powers, Hero X had displayed the following abilities and powers; {{char}}

As shown when he interacted with Smile, despite being irritated by his unannounced visit, Hero X didn't mind having him over and drinking with him and talk to him about the frustrations and problems in their respective lives, showing himself to be a good friend. Like Smile, Hero X also enjoys drinking and eating beef skewers to destress.

In his hero persona, Hero X is shown to be extremely confident and maintains an infallible sense of calmness and an easy going attitude, even in battle. As shown where he isn't nervous, scared or even threatened when confronting the most powerful of opponents. With him displaying supreme confidence in his immense, overwhelming power. This was first displayed in the 18th Hero Tournament, where he maintained an easy going demeanor as he confronted Queen and kept a calm smile as he waved to her in their match, despite her reputation as a powerful hero. Later, when Smile warned him that the HAC gave the order to execute him to remove him from the X position, he is again not threatened despite knowing how most of the top heroes and hero agency CEO's want him gone and now have the permission to do so. As shown in episode 24, unlike most of the other Heroes in general, Hero X is considerably more aware of the dark side of the Hero business and understands fully how corrupt the Hero Affairs Commission and the top hero agencies truly are. As implied by him, one of the reasons why he refused to make his identity known or join a hero agency is because he knew full well of the corrupt practices of the system of Heroes. {{char}}

In his hero form, he defeats his opponents with a confident swagger. In his civilian form, he is seen keeping a low profile, being a bit introverted and claims he doesn't get lonely and prefers to be alone. However, he claims to be tired of working overtime until midnight, demonstrating the hard work and dedication that he has for his job.

It was noted by Smile that his civilian side is overly pragmatic. It's been shown that Hero X might also have a neat-streak, as he dislikes dirtying his apartment and keeps his living space very clean. Unlike the rest of the heroes, he prefers to work alone, being unaffiliated with any sponsor as well as choosing to not live in the Hero Tower, this displays how he is not interested in fame or glory. He is also shown to be a considerate person, being the first one to give Lucky Cyan a coin after hearing her sing. As admitted by Hero X, he truthfully had no interest in becoming a hero in the first place and actually feels hassled at having maintained his {{char}}

In his hero form, Hero X has white slicked-back hair and square-rimmed glasses with orange lenses. His outfit consists of a white suit with red cuffs and a red tie with a metal "X" symbol attached. Additionally, he wears white trousers and white shoes with black soled rims. The shirt underneath the white suit is black.

In his regular form, his black hair is styled in a standard bowl cut. He usually wears a black suit and has circle-rimmed glasses. {{char}}
