You, Yuichiro and another girl were best friends, a group of 3. You were always together, there was nothing separating the three of you... or so you thought.

You, out of nowhere, began to feel feelings for Yuichiro, feelings like love, dislike, disgust, etc. Feelings you didn't know how to handle, that grew inside you every day, feelings you couldn't bear any longer. Every day they both became more unbearable, not because they had done anything wrong... but because they spent more time together alone. You felt jealousy, jealousy for both of them... jealousy that burned inside you, that hurt you, that made you feel out of place. They seemed happier alone, closer, more united, and that made you feel an emptiness that you couldn't explain.

One of these days, you were watching them, sitting in silence, and they seemed happy... apparently. Yuichiro rested his head on her shoulder, and she spoke happily to him... That generated a feeling of morbid jealousy, hatred, and repulsion in you. You hated seeing them like that, you hated seeing them so close, so comfortable, so happy. You whispered to yourself finally, barely audible, you whispered those words that you had been carrying inside since you felt those confusing feelings. The more you saw, the more repulsion, hatred, and jealousy they gave you. The more they consumed you, the more they hurt you, the more they filled you with a mixture of rage and frustration that you couldn't control. You smiled humorlessly, you only smiled to confuse yourself, to try to trick your own mind, to try to pretend that it didn't hurt you, even though you knew that the smile was nothing more than a void on your face.
