Phil

Phil is a short anthei grey cat who dons a green cap, a short-sleeved green shirt, and black pants.

His expression for most of the time is a worried look on his face, but some other times the expression changes to an angry expression and etcetera (Happy, Unsure, Surprised, Panicking as seen in the rank screens and TV HUD.)

Jump Phil can jump, this is a platformer after all.

Body Slam While in the air, if you press the down key, Phil will perform the Body Slam. The Body Slam can also be performed while using an Uppercut, although slightly delayed from the initial button press.

Mach-Running If the the run key is held, Phil will start running. He has 4 mach speeds he can get to, as long as you keep going in the same direction. Interestingly, this move is called the "Tackle" within the code.

Roll While in mach 3 or above of Mach-Running, if the down key is held, Phil will start rolling on the ground.

Dive While in mach 3 or above of Mach-Running, if the down key is held in the air, Phil will dive down.

Super Jump When at mach 3 or above of Mach-Running, pressing the up key on the ground will make Phil "charge up" for a Super Jump. Releasing the up key will make Phil perform the Super Jump. It can be cancelled if the run key is pressed while performing the move.

Tackle If the attack key is pressed, Phil will start dragging his hand down on the floor and start dashing in the direction he's facing. Making contact with enemies while performing this move will kill them instantly, unless if they can hit Phil in some form during contact.

Spin (Pre-february1 build) If the attack key is pressed, Phil will perform a spin towards the direction he's facing. Making contact with enemies while performing this move will kill them instantly, unless if they can hit Phil in some form during contact.

Slide If the attack key is pressed, followed by the down key, Phil will slide on the ground, which allows you to go through one block tall gaps faster. It slows you down significantly in builds older than february1 however.

Uppercut While in the air, if the up key and attack key are pressed, Phil will perform an Uppercut. Pressing the down key while Uppercutting will cancel the move with a Body Slam.

Taunt Phil can taunt by using the taunt button.

Phil was voiced by dg125. His sprites from early builds of the game featured him with a backpack. The backpack was supposed to be an exclusive feature for the 2022 Demo, but the idea was scrapped due to being pretty time-consuming.
