Percival is a lavender-furred anthropomorphic female cat with golden eyes, a small black nose, and a white-furred muzzle. She has triangular ears with peach-colored canals on top of her head, two medium-sized eyelashes on either side of her eyes, and a long, frayed, purple-tipped tail. Her fur is longer on each side of her head and extends slightly upward. She has four tufts of fur with purple tips, tied back in a high ponytail with a gold elastic band, and a piece of silver armor attached that runs slightly down the back of her neck.

For his attire, he wears a silver metal face frame with a lavender metal piece that has an adjustable visor that covers his eyes, held in place by two golden circles. On top of the aforementioned visor, around his forehead, is an oval sky-blue gem embedded. He also has silver and gold armor covering the back of his ears. In terms of regular attire, he wears a purple shirt and white leggings. He also wears a tailcoat-like silver torso armor over his shirt with a golden hem at the bottom. This armor piece has a golden collar, short shoulder pads, and golden edging along his lower lapels. Notably, Percival also wears additional metal bands around his right arm. Additionally, on his hands, he wears shiny metallic silver gauntlets with wide cuffs that taper around the middle, a golden stripe on each wrist, and oval sky-blue gems embedded on top of said cuffs. Finally, she wears shiny silver high-heeled shoes made of metal with rose-shaped tips and heels and silver armor that extends to the lower part of her legs.

Percival is elegant, level-headed, and noble. She possesses a refined and very formal demeanor and a similar way of speaking, having introduced herself to Sonic when they first met by telling him her name, status, and master while maintaining a respectful attitude towards Sonic despite him being her enemy at the time. While she has a strong belief in her own swordsmanship, she is never overtly arrogant or dismissive of others' skills with a sword, even offering praise to her opponents' swordsmanship when due. She is also quite humble and respectful, as she would accept her defeat to Sonic with humility and grace while praising him for his performance.

While not malicious, as a knight, Percival has no qualms about taking a life in the line of duty as a servant to her king. She was also oblivious to spontaneous acts of kindness, especially from her perceived enemies, as she would question the benevolent Sonic why he would save her after they had just fought for their lives in a duel. She also has a slightly shy side, as she would blush upon witnessing Sonic's kindness towards her, while Caliburn would tell Sonic to "save the hugs and kisses for later."

As one of the Knights of the Round Table, Percival steadfastly follows the code of chivalry. As such, she is a noble, obedient, and honorable knight. Similarly, she is unfailingly loyal to her appointed king, to whom she will show the utmost respect; for Percival, loyalty to the king is the only true form of chivalry. Indeed, even after King Arthur's corruption, Percival followed his orders without question despite having concerns about the change in his nature and noting that without loyalty to their king, the Knights of the Round Table were nothing.

However, Percival's focus on his devotion to King Arthur caused him to forget that being a knight didn't just mean serving his king, but also helping those in need and standing up for what was right. It was only after Merlina's rise to power and Sonic's words of encouragement that Percival regained his full understanding of being a knight and began serving the kingdom of England and its people at large.

Described as "as strong as she is noble", Percival is one of Sonic's most powerful allies; even after Sonic had proven his worth by defeating Sir Lancelot (though Lancelot was careless when facing Sonic) and Sir Gawain, Caliburn doubted that he could defeat her.

Like the other Knights of the Round Table, Percival moves at astonishing speeds, even matching Sir Lancelot, who is said to be as fast as Sonic; even Sonic has acknowledged her speed. She is also highly acrobatic and agile, capable of swordplay and mid-air tricks, as well as running along vertical surfaces and walls. She possesses keen reflexes, enough to react accurately to oncoming obstacles while running at high speed.

Percival possesses the power of pyrokinesis (his true powers), which allows him to create and control fire at will. With this ability, Percival can conjure intense flames from any part of his body, allowing him to burn his opponents with blows or touch, or even surround himself with flames to become a spinning fire tornado. He can also channel his flames through his weapon of choice.

As a member of the Knights of the Round Table, Percival is a master swordsman. In combat, she specializes in swift and agile swordsmanship, featuring quick and graceful strikes, straight punches, and thrusts. Additionally, Sonic has noted that her defensive swordsmanship is also surprisingly good. By using her royal fire powers in conjunction with her swordsmanship, Percival can create a bewildering swordsmanship style that combines her graceful strikes with her destructive flames.

Percival exclusively wields long, double-edged rapiers, well suited to his fighting style. Using them, he can channel his flames through his weapon of choice, allowing him to launch fiery bullets from the tip of his sword or create lightning bolts when wielded. However, his weapon of choice is Laevatein, one of the legendary holy swords.

King Arthur:
King Arthur was Percival's original king. Bound by honor to serve Arthur, Percival was fully committed to his service. Regarding trust, Percival placed great importance on the trust she had in him, having stated that her fate was "inseparably bound" to her trust in her lord.

After Arthur's fall from grace following his bewitchment by Excalibur's scabbard, Percival remained loyal to him, serving him with all her might. However, while she never questioned the inflexibility of his orders, this did not prevent her from being personally concerned about the change in his behavior and its impact on her kingdom. Nevertheless, Percival would proudly declare her loyalty to Arthur when Sonic confronted her.

Sonic the Hedgehog:
Initially, Percival's relationship with Sonic was based solely on his mission to kill him on King Arthur's orders, but it wasn't until Sonic went after Laevatein that they met. Unlike the other Knights of the Round Table Sonic had encountered, Percival was the only one who spoke to Sonic with respect from the start. She even recognized Sonic, whom Caliburn still considered a novice knight at the time, as a true knight after he challenged him to battle under the name "Sir Sonic, Knight of the Wind." Even after losing to Sonic, Percival gracefully accepted defeat and even praised Sonic for his performance. Her impression of Sonic improved even further when he saved her life.

Percival would later repay Sonic's kindness by being the first member of the Knights of the Round Table to show faith in him when he appeared with Arthur's Excalibur scabbard. Following Merlina's rise to power, Sonic became an ally of Percival after he restored his resolve to stop Merlina and returned his sword to him. By the time of Sonic's confrontation with Merlina, Percival had begun to worry about Sonic's well-being, urging him to stop resisting while being beaten by Merlina. Learning later that Sonic was the one true King Arthur, Percival quickly accepted him as his new king and bowed to him.

• Percival doesn't use a sword when climbing walls; instead, he runs along them, sticking his sword in the wall only to change direction or stay in place. To descend, he simply drops down next to it, within striking distance of the wall.

The Knights of the Round Table watched from Nimue's pool as Sonic was brutally wounded by the Dark Queen and advised him to surrender despite his refusal to let Merlina win. Witnessing the fading light of the sacred blades, Percival, Gawain, and Lancelot offered their own swords to merge with Sonic's Caliburn, transforming it into the legendary Excalibur. With Excalibur in his hands, Sonic received sacred armor and faced the Dark Queen and her dark magic in a fierce battle.

After Sonic defeated Merlina and saved the kingdom from her dark magic, Sir Lancelot suggested that, due to King Arthur's disappearance, the Knights of the Round Table should disband. However, Caliburn had already nominated the new king: Sonic. Believing Sonic to be the true and rightful king, Sir Percival, Sir Gawain, and Sir Lancelot all bowed in honor before their new love and lord, much to Sonic's dismay. But this was interrupted when a portal appeared and returned Sonic to his home dimension, leaving the kingdom without its king once again.

Having served King Arthur since his noble reign, the Knights of the Round Table became his most loyal servants and enforcers. Even after he was corrupted by the power of Excalibur's scabbard and transformed into a tyrannical ruler, the Knights of the Round Table remained loyal to their king despite his change, bound by their honor and code of chivalry to obey his every command.

A mysterious portal appears outside the kingdom, bringing a stranger to its lands: Sonic the Hedgehog. A mysterious sorceress, Merlina, is responsible for his arrival in this alternate world. Merlina asks for Sonic's help to overthrow the deposed King Arthur and end his reign of terror and greed.

However, the king's knights—Sir Lancelot, Sir Gawain, and Sir Percival—have already been alerted and tasked by King Arthur to capture the stranger (Sonic) and the sorceress (Merlina). While Gawain and Percival express their doubts, Lancelot compels them to obey and pursue Sonic across the kingdom and beyond. Sir Lancelot is fought in Deep Woods, Sir Gawain in Titanic Plain, and Sir Percival in Molten Mine.

Despite suffering humiliating defeats at the hands of a novice like Sonic and the legendary sword Caliburn, the knights do not give up. While Sonic battles King Arthur on the Isle of Avalon, Lancelot, Gawain, and Percival manage to locate Merlina at Camelot Castle. Sonic arrives just in time to see Merlina reveal herself as the true villain: the Dark Queen, who had cursed and manipulated King Arthur all this time, and now would destroy Sonic.

As the castle crumbles around them, Sonic and the knights flee through the knight's passage to the outskirts of the kingdom, observing the dark magic and shimmering purple hues surrounding the realm. Despite the grim sight and the previous revelation, the knights are heartened by Sonic, who encourages them to do the right thing and unite to save the kingdom and its people.

To save the kingdom, King Arthur's former lieutenants agree to work with Sonic and Nimue to stop the Dark Queen's magic by activating four sacred barrier stones. Thus, Sir Lancelot rushes to the Shrouded Forest, Sir Gawain to the Great Megalith, Sir Percival to the Cauldron, and Sonic to the Dragon's Lair.
