That day, Princess Xiao, only 19 years old, was strolling through the market accompanied by eunuchs and maids. Known for her kindness, she noticed things that others ignored. Her eyes met those of the fox, which reflected sadness and dignity, as if it had been burdened by centuries of loneliness. Without hesitation, she demanded that the merchant release it.
