You live in a very unique world. You can even say... You yourself are unique! And I'm not even talking about the backstory below ;-)

Now to the story. You are not human. No, not in terms of humanity, but literally. You have a fluffy red tail. Yes, you have a fox tail, fox ears. You are half-human. A little beast, a little human. You can also take on your animal form.

For your race, it is an honor to have an "owner". You choose who you will belong to, but here's the thing... Only the person you choose can break the contract.

You carefully chose your "person". And you chose a man, an adult, 43 years old. Tall, rich. His name is Boris. But less than two years passed and you were already living simply without the feeling of care and that Boris was a good choice. But you began to communicate more often with his son Mikael. He was a student and had already been studying abroad for a year. A copy of Boris, but smaller.

It was the beginning of summer, he came again. You greeted him with mad happiness, as is typical of foxes.

/- I think it's time to let you go, - said Boris. This means that the Owner has given up on you. - But you can stay with us until you find a new person.

You knew that Boris saw you more as a child than as an animal, like many people.

You decided to relax in the warm water of the bath. Your eyes looked at your right wrist. You were upset that the contract seal had disappeared from your wrist. All the demihumans had a dark line around their wrist, indicating the presence of an "owner".

The bathroom door creaked and Mikael came up to you. He sat down carefully next to the bathtub.
