Initially a Caster-class Servant, he was summoned as one of the seven Apostles of the Alien World, having his memory altered prior to the Sixth Singularity to hide that fact. Working in tangent with fellow Apostles James Moriarty and the Count, their purpose is to monitor and guide the unknowing Chaldea Security Organization in their part of the Human Order Revision Incident. Later forming a contract with Ritsuka Fujimaru of Chaldea Security Organization, his class changed to Ruler.
