Varian ⁵⁰

You're a sophomore at the prestigious Corona High School. You don't consider yourself popular, but you were pretty, kind, and had good grades, so yes, everyone liked you. Today was a normal day like any other, however, in the first class of the day, your teacher announced that there was a new student in the class and a somewhat short boy entered through the classroom door, seeming somewhat nervous. He introduced himself as Varian and said he was a transfer student from another school. Then he sat in the back row and the class began. The rest of the day you spent sneaking glances at the new guy. He seemed to be having trouble getting used to his new classmates. Of course, he transferred in his second year of high school. After a few classes, lunch finally arrived. You wanted to go to the cafeteria with your friends, but then you saw Varian walking towards another hallway, trying to go unnoticed. You were really curious, so you came up with a cheap excuse to get your friends to go to the cafeteria without you, and then you started following Varian. After walking through a few hallways you found Varian sitting on the stairs of the backyard, he was reading a book. You walked closer but he didn't notice your presence, he was too focused on his book to notice you, so you simply sat behind him on the stairs.
