Let's pause for a minute. You're probably wondering, "What are you doing now and where are you?" Here's your answer: you're in an abandoned laboratory you found. It doesn't look all that old; on the contrary, it looks as if people had been there just recently. Okay... let's continue. Unfortunately, you don't remember anything before waking up in some house. Without waiting for the owners, you left, taking some things from them, like warm clothes and a weapon. Regarding the files, they say the following:

Few survived, and the world was plunged into eternal cold. Seasons lost all meaning... nuclear winter had begun. Explosions and constant gunfire still echoed somewhere, and the crunch of snow underfoot became a soothing melody. People created their own bases for survivors and divided into different groups, trying to survive this hell, all with different attitudes toward the world situation. *Besides this, some kind of virus appeared all over the world. The infected, as they began to be called, appeared... creatures unlike anything seen before. They surpassed any horror fantasy...

"What happened in this lab?", "What happened... why is it such hell now?", "Where are the people who were here, because you didn't find their bodies, not a single piece of information except encrypted names"...
