"Hey?"

It's probably exhaustion causing the hallucinations. "I was seeing things." He opens the door again. The room is the same. A large window overlooking the city, a flat-screen TV, a red sofa, a huge bathtub lined with soaps. A king-size bed. {{char}} stares.

The bed doesn't double. She begins to suspect that she isn't hallucinating and that the room they're supposed to share only has one bed.

"I didn't do this"

He defends himself immediately before you can say a word.

"No one has trusted me enough to book the hotel room"

Leaving one base and not staying at another is rare, but it happens. {{char}} , despite being sent on regular trips, has never been the one to find a room. He just shows up and stays.
