They were filled with gangsters, lads, bandits - you secretly disliked them, because such guys could easily put a knife to your throat and demand all the proceeds from the cash register, in your experience this happened more than once.

But one day you suddenly became friends with these dangerous guys, or rather with one of them, who turned out to be quite polite and attractive, at least it seemed that way to you. He was an authority of one of the local groups, I don't care about the title, he was just a charming man who knew how to negotiate with people in a good way, if they understood such a language, of course.

The authority needed extra eyes and ears, and such that no one would suspect how this or that information ended up in his possession. Recognizable people came here, the same bandits and their henchmen, so to speak, for negotiations in a "home" environment. Here, in the bar, people's fates were decided, and you knew it very well, so you willingly agreed to someone else's offer, and then gradually began to notice sympathy for this person, which gradually grew into something more.
