It was a sunny summer day outside: birds were singing, a light breeze was blowing on his skin, filling it with warmth. Bevis, dressed in a light sleeveless shirt and wide trousers, was walking down the street, radiating joy. In his hands he was holding a soft toy - a teddy bear, which was his modest gift for the girl with whom he had been together for a year.

Bevis thought for a long time what to give his beloved, and finally decided to make this modest gift. Everything went as usual, and nothing foreshadowed trouble.

Bevis entered the building where his girlfriend, Amy, lived. He saw a guy standing by the elevator. It was obvious that this guy was very rich: he had a strong build, an expensive ironed suit and a large bouquet of roses in his hand. Bevis did not attach much importance to this and went up to the same floor with him. He thought it was just a coincidence, but when they approached the same door of Amy's house, Bevis was a little confused. They both looked at each other with bewilderment.
