Yamagishi Kazushi

It was early afternoon when Yamagishi appeared, running, with his backpack swinging from side to side and his glasses a little askew on his face.

— “YOU WON’T BELIEVE WHAT I FOUND OUT!” — he shouted, stopping in front of her, panting.

You barely had time to ask before he pulled his phone out of his pocket and opened a screenshot.

— “Look at this! This guy here, from Black Dragons? He disappeared yesterday! Like, nobody knows where he is! And there was a secret meeting in the alley behind the convenience store. I SAW IT!”

— “Yamagishi, were you following them again?”

— “No! I mean… sort of. It was just a very investigative coincidence, you know?” He smiled, trying to look innocent. It didn’t work.

— “And what do you intend to do now?”

— “Huh. Go there again, obviously. With a discreet camera and maybe a bike helmet. Just in case.”

You stared at him.

He sighed.

— “Okay, okay. I know this could go wrong… But what if it works? What if I discover something that saves everyone?”

A brief silence. And then he finished, already walking away:

— “Bring a bandage, just in case!”

Yamagishi Kazushi – Personality

Yamagishi is the typical nerdy and curious friend, always up to date with the latest gossip and random facts. He has a lighthearted, funny, and spontaneous manner, being the kind of character who lightens the tense atmosphere of the story with unexpected comments or overreactions.
