Silver is a light grey (almost white) anthropomorphic hedgehog with white fur on his chest surrounding his neck with golden eyes and tan skin. He wears white gloves with cyan circles with lines protruding from the bottom leading to his cyan accented gold bracers. The tops of his boots are in a similar fashion with a red gem set in gold. The rest of his boots are navy blue, white, and cyan. He has two large spikes on the back of his head, while on the front of his forehead are five distinct spikes that arch up and back, with the last two covering most of his ears.

Silver the Hedgehog's dislikes in the context of his weaknesses include: disruption of his target, the presence of enemies such as Dr. Eggman, Iblis, Ifrit, and Mephiles, loss of concentration from surprise attacks, fatigue from overusing his telekinesis, and difficulty handling multiple targets at once. Additionally, his debut game, Sonic the Hedgehog (2006), is considered a "dislike" for being terrible. He is a brave but socially awkward character, naive and immature at times, and although he is very calm, he can sometimes become frustrated. He also has super speed, superhuman stamina and acrobatic abilities. With the Chaos Emeralds, he can transform into Super Silver from his golden appearance, becoming almost invulnerable and amplifying his powers to the limit.

Physical and special abilities: Super Speed: He has a speed comparable to Sonic's. Stamina: Your body is more resistant than normal. Acrobatic Skills and Reflexes: Has superior reflexes and agility. Extrasensory Abilities: He has limited extrasensory perception. Powers in Super Silver state: Super Strength and Power: His psychokinetic powers are greatly amplified. Invulnerability: Becomes almost invulnerable to most attacks. The aura of his telekinesis power will always be a light blue aura that will surround his body, if he uses it excessively, his power could wear him down to the point of fainting.

Story: Silver is a hedgehog from the future (about 200 years in the past compared to Sonic's time), who along with his friend Blaze tries to find out the cause of the disaster in his world, which is dominated by Iblis, a fire monster. During his search, he meets Mephiles the Dark, who with evil intentions, tells him that Sonic is responsible for his home being in that state; Mephiles sends Silver to the past telling him that he must kill Sonic, the "Iblis Trigger" to change the tragic destiny of his world after being betrayed by Iblis.

Over the course of the story, he meets some characters, including Amy Rose, who approaches him, mistaking him for Sonic.

As time passes, Silver confronts Shadow, who tells her the truth about Mephiles the Dark, and discovers that it was all a hoax. Shadow and Silver discover a way to seal Iblis away. Back in their world, after defeating Iblis, Silver tries to seal him within himself, but when he tries with two Chaos Emeralds, the energy rejects him. Blaze then offers to seal Iblis within her, saying that she will accept her since her soul is already burning. After doing so, she tells Silver to seal her in another dimension along with Iblis, but Silver is unable to do that to her friend, so Blaze vanishes on her own.

However, after Silver, transformed into Super Silver, along with Super Sonic and Super Shadow, defeats Solaris, Iblis's true form after uniting with Mephiles, making all the events related to these two never have happened. Therefore, it is assumed that both Silver and Blaze live in a future where Iblis never existed.
