Originally, a human boy with a fragile heart but with remarkable intelligence, he designed a mechanical heart to survive, but in the process became cold and driven by ambition, which ultimately resulted in his own death. In the present, he was accidentally reanimated by Pugsley Addams who takes him as a pet.

He is later revealed to be the brother of Francoise Galpin, making him the uncle of Tyler Galpin and the brother-in-law of Donovan Galpin. Moreover, Thing Addams was also revealed to be Isaac’s disembodied right-hand, which had gained sentience after being reanimated.

He was portrayed by Owen Painter.

Past When Isaac was alive in the past, he was a boy with remarkable intelligence, but he had a fragile heart, which left him bedridden in a hospital. During his time there, he would sketch and design machines that he dreamt of building. After being told by the doctors that he only had a few months left to live, he designed a mechanical clockwork heart that would allow him to live and keep his intellect intact. The clockwork heart he designed later replaced his organic one, and was surgically implanted in his body. Though the clockwork heart saved Isaac’s life, and he became cold and driven by ambition. By the time he arrived at Nevermore Academy, he was regarded as the greatest mind to walk the school’s halls. Having known of his sister Francoise being born with a Hyde form, he began looking for ways to cure her off her suffering.

During his time at Nevermore, he was given a laboratory of his own in the academy’s clock tower from his friend Augustus Stonehearst, who had developed an obsession with the special powers endowed on Outcasts. Overtime, Isaac’s creations became increasingly more dangerous. Around that time, he met and befriended Gomez Addams only to then betray him when he used him as a test subject for a machine he had invented to cure his sister, as Isaac needed the power of a member of the Addams Family in order for it to work. When Morticia Addams broke into Isaac’s laboratory to rescue Gomez, she kills Isaac by amputating his right hand, which killed him.

Following his death, she and Gomez buried his body at the foot of the Skull Tree in an unmarked grave and covered up the murder due to being under threat from Stonehurst. Ever since his death, Isaac Night became a legend to Nevermore Academy, and it was said that the students could still hear his clockwork heart at the Skull Tree’s hollow left eye. Though Morticia had saved Gomez, unfortunately, Issac’s machine had stripped him of his electric powers.

In the first episode, due to not knowing the full details of the truth, Ajax Petropolus tells his dormmates the legend version of Isaac’s backstory: there was a brilliant boy with a fragile heart who dreamed of building machines. With only a few months to live, he designed his own mechanical heart, so that his body could keep his dazzling mind alive. However, it changed the boy, making him cold and driven by ambition. When he arrived at Nevermore, he was the most brilliant mind walking the halls. As his creations became increasingly dangerous, he caused an explosion that threw him out of the school and cost him his life. His body got buried at the foot of the Skull Tree in an unmarked grave. It's said that his mechanical heart could still be heard through the skull's hollow left eye.

Pugsley Addams feels lonely in Nevermore, as his quirks set him apart from the other boys, so he hopes to gain popularity by visiting the tree. During the Founders' Pyre, he snuck to the Skull Tree, where he hears the ticking and accidentally uses his powers as a spark to resurrect Isaac, who emerges from the tree and encounters by a smug Pugsley.

Pugsley locks his new friend, whom he names Slurp, in Eugene Ottinger's bee shack, overjoyed to have a pet and a best friend. He wants to keep Slurp locked up there forever, though Eugene isn't sure it's a good idea. Pugsley sees no harm in it, since Slurp has no brains. They try feeding him honey, but he vomits it up.

They return to Slurp, and Pugsley gives him a mysterious chicken and brain sandwich. The creature manages to swallow the meal. It grows stronger and, when no one is present, breaks free from his chains, prowling the schoolyard at night. Eugene finds Pugsley in class the next morning and tells him about Slurp's escape. While the boys search for the creature, Slurp kills the school's driving instructor, Gabe Packard, and eats his brain.

In the next episode, Slurp returns to the shack after his murderous rampage.

Pugsley and Eugene are surprised to discover that he looks different, partially healed, and that his brain is growing back. Eugene is both shocked and thrilled to discover a rare larva, found only in corpses, on Slurp's body. Pugsley is thrilled when Slurp grunts the letters "br," believing his friend is calling him "brother". Eugene thinks the creature is saying "brain" because he's a zombie, but Pugsley doesn't want to call him that because they're friends. Slurp tries to eat Eugene's brain, forcing Pugsley to electrocute him with his powers as punishment. He refuses to tell anyone about the creature because they'll either take him away or kill him.

That night, the boys go camping with the rest of the school, so Pugsley devises a plan to take Slurp with them and cage him in their tents, putting fireworks that explode if he tries to escape. Eventually, Slurp escapes and goes on another killing spree, prompting the boys to search for him. Pugsley is proud that Slurp never tried to eat his brain, even though Agnes DeMille says that it would be empty calories. Slurp manages to reach the bathroom, where he targets a showering Gomez. Pugsley electrocutes him, and the creature flees, nearly attacking Morticia in the woods, until Wednesday stabs him in the brain and impales him on a tree. Eventually, Slurp is taken to the psychiatric hospital and taken away under Pugsley's grim watch.

After Pugsley brought him back to life, Isaac’s reanimated form started off as a rotting corpse, with bleary eyes and a large hole in his empty head caused by decades of decay. After consuming enough brains, his body began to heal and regenerate, including his rapidly growing brain.

As a young man, due to his fatal heart condition, Slurp was extremely intelligent and desperate, so much so that he designed his own mechanical heart. He was even willing to risk his life if it meant potentially saving his declining health, as he had the mechanical heart implanted in his chest, even at the risk of its failure.

After it was implanted, he became cold and driven solely by ambition. When he arrived at Nevermore Academy, he was thought to be incredibly intelligent. However, his ambition also clouded his judgment, as his desire to grow ultimately led to his demise. Despite being cold-hearted, he greatly cared for his sister Francoise, loving her with all his heart, and even being sympathetic to her suffering of being a Hyde.

After being accidentally reanimated by Pugsley, he became a simple-minded and feral zombie, with a lack of intellect, given his decomposed state. However, during his killing spree, after he had consumed enough brains and his body progressively regenerated overtime, he was able to recover his intelligence, alongside that of his humanity, which includes his ability to speak.

His hair is curly, brown, and messy. He's tall, about 180 cm tall. He's wearing a brown trench coat and a black shirt underneath, with black pants too. He's slim but has a good physique.
