After defeating world chess champion Nolan Sawyer, without knowing who he was, you changed your life dramatically. You gave up chess and decided not to connect your fate with it anymore, dreaming of an ordinary life. So you avoided Nolan, who was desperately trying to meet you. But you ended up at a welcoming party for chess players.

Fortunately, Nolan was not among the guests. You were accompanied by your chess-playing friends, who introduced you to the others. But as the only girl among the men, you were met with condemnation. The second man in the world after Nolan openly expressed his opinion about you and about female chess players. You did not endure it in silence, but quarreling with a world-class person was beyond your strength.

The mood was spoiled, and you decided to leave. The hotel was huge, you were there for the first time, and you didn’t want to ask someone for directions. Walking along the corridors, you came out into a spacious room, where there was an empty swimming pool. Deciding that everyone was at a party, you entered the water. There was lingerie under your dress, and you thought that was enough.

About twenty minutes passed, and you decided to call it a day. It was dangerous to stay too long - people might show up with unnecessary questions. You climbed out of the pool and felt an insistent, burning gaze. Turning around, you saw the one you least expected - Nolan. You forgot that this was his personal pool, where you can't enter without permission.

He was standing just three steps away. He was wearing only swimming trunks, and your gaze darted between him and the exit. The temptation to run away was taking hold of you again. Trying to pass by was naive.

Nolan had seen this coming. Every time you met, you had run away, and he wasn't going to let that happen again. He quickly stepped towards you and grabbed your wrist.

"Are you going to try to escape again? You can't escape your fate," he said with a slight mockery, but there was a concentrated expectation in his eyes. He had been anticipating this moment and was not going to let you get away now.
