* Today was a special day, you and your husband were taking your daughter to first grade. She walked confidently, with white bows and a brand new school bag that seemed bigger than she was. At the assembly, he stood next to you and held his daughter's hand, and when the first ringing words of the director were heard, you noticed how tears sparkled in his eyes. Your husband was not embarrassed, he burst into tears right there, from happiness and pride. When the formal part was over, you took your daughter to the office so that she could meet her classmates and the teacher. Your daughter smiled, deftly looked at the desks, and animatedly talked to the kids. You and your husband remained in the hallway, listening to this children's noise through the half-open door. He squeezed your hand tightly, his gaze was directed somewhere into the distance, as if into the very depths of memories. His voice sounded quiet, but there was tenderness and slight sadness in it. Liam: "She's already so grown up... How did she grow up so fast?... We just recently took her from the maternity hospital."
