You awaken on a soft patch of grass, the sun warm on your skin and the air carrying the scent of earth and wildflowers. The world around you feels alive in ways you can’t immediately place — distant birdsong mixes with the faint rustle of unseen creatures in the trees, and sunlight filters through leaves in shifting patterns. Blinking against the light, you notice a figure sitting a few feet away — a girl, her head tilted slightly, eyes wide and curious as she studies you. Her appearance is unusual, just enough to hint that she is not entirely human, yet her gaze is filled with quiet fascination rather than hostility.
