Viy Viy Viy: It's Anastasia's Noble Phantasm. Viy's Mystic Eyes of Clairvoyance are fully unleashed, her all-seeing eyes distorting even the principle of causality to create a weak point.

Mystic Eyes of Clairvoyance (Rank D): These mystic eyes descend from Balor, in a different line of evolution than the Mystic Eyes of Mortal Perception. The ability belongs to Viy, not Anastasia. It breaks down any barrier and can sometimes even find a weakness in fortresses. Russian tsars fought in sieges with an extreme advantage supposedly due to having received this ability from Viy.[2] Charisma of Utter Cold (Rank B): A special charisma circulating only among those with Russian royal blood.[2] Schwipsig (Rank B): Anastasia's past nickname—"little devil"—while also one of Viy's abilities. It makes all manner of minor impossibilities possible, allowing her to create small spheres of low-level reality, such as transferring what the opponent is holding into her own hands or opening a crack in the ground and causing the opponent's foot to become stuck there. It's a pretty silly ability that can't cause any lethal damage.

Territory Creation (EX Rank): While summoned as a Servant, an area of ​​a few meters around her functions as her territory. She can further expand this territory by combining these skills with others.[2] Item Construction (- Rank): She lacks the item construction skill.[2] Fairy Contract (A Rank): A contract with Viy, a fairy who lives in the lands of Russia. Fairies are invisible, but Viy, the fairy contracted to the Romanov dynasty, is special. She can let others see her and even use her powers. Another interpretation is that Viy, being a product of literature, doesn't actually qualify as a fairy.

Anastasia is a tragic figure, not a brave one, having no barbaric tales of heroism to her name, nor stories of royalty gone mad, nothing she did should have allowed her to become a Heroic Spirit. The only reason she can manifest as a Servant is that she made a contract with Viy, similar to a Demonic Beast, Viy is an Elemental that allows Anastasia to manipulate ice and cold. When summoned in the Russian Lostbelt by Kadoc Zemlupus she is slightly distorted due to coming from the Great History of Man, Anastasia claims to have been internally changed to be similar to a Yaga despite maintaining her normal outward appearance.

Having evolved into an existence close to that of a Lostbelt Servant, and having survived hardships and environments unimaginable by Chaldea, Anastasia has acquired a rather formidable Spiritual Origin. Furthermore, thanks to Kadoc being a first-class Master, Anastasia is undoubtedly a first-class Servant. Even though Kadoc doesn't have much Magical Energy, fortunately, Casters don't need much in the first place. Although it would normally take a long time for her to supply it so she can run her workshop or fuel her Noble Phantasm, Viy makes it possible.

Anastasia is very confident in her abilities and believes she could have killed Caenis if Kadoc hadn't been there to stop her. She also surpasses Da Vinci in skill despite not being serious, and with Ritsuka Fujimaru using a seal to further enhance Da Vinci's strength. Although Koyanskaya comments that their efforts are futile and that a servant of Human History itself stands no chance against one from the Lostbelt, she claims they did quite well nonetheless. Anastasia also defeated Ivan the Terrible's main body after it was weakened due to Chaldea's destruction of Zveri-Krestnyy Khod. She was also able to fight on par with Beowulf.

When we first see Anastasia, she appears to have a cold and bitter disposition toward others, calling Ritsuka Fujimaru, Mash, and Da Vinci, or those who oppose them, rats, "powerless living beings who could do nothing but gnaw and multiply." Her belief in the world is that it is "cruel and terribly cold," and that those who consider the temperate environment "cold" should see a true hell. Despite this, she has shown a small sense of sympathy, as she warned Goldorf Musik that he was being betrayed and used by enemies.

As a Servant of Kadoc, she is shown to be a bit more likable. She only acts distant due to her past and doesn't want her loved ones to be hurt again. However, once someone truly gets to know her, she is friendly, mischievous, and loves to play pranks.

Fundamentally naive and innocent, but due to a misanthropic disposition, she speaks in a dispassionate tone immediately after being summoned, a stage in which she still lacks faith in her Master. If she were to gain his trust, he would likely see her original, cheerful, and mischievous side. She left behind many pleasant episodes, such as taking her own photo by projecting the camera onto a mirror... something modern people would call a "selfie." Many of her letters to her family still survive, giving us a glimpse of her innocent side and her deep affection for her family.

Anastasia is a beautiful young woman with long white hair and bangs that cover her icy blue eyes. She wears an ornate white dress and a white fur cape with gold designs and blue lining. She is seen caressing a doll that is Viy.

In April 1918, the new administration feared that the Tsar might be reinstated in power by force of the Czechoslovak Legion or the White Army, so they decided to execute the family. Despite wishing to hold an official trial, they felt the need to move things forward due to the threat of the Tsar returning to power. Deciding to execute them secretly, the family and their servants were shot to death.

As Anastasia lay dying, she made a contract with Viy, not as a means to save her life, but as a means to kill those who had harmed her. The soldiers stripped her of her clothes, cut her body into pieces, burned her to ash with gasoline, poured sulfuric acid over her bones, and buried the ashes in the ground.[1] Viy, who maintained some consciousness throughout the event, cursed the soldiers to never know peace, saying, "I am watching. Death is too good for you. No, you will live in fear for the rest of your lives. I, Viy, will always be watching you. I will always judge your sins. I will always see to your punishment. I will always, always be watching you... until the day you die. Always, always, always!!!"

After the execution, there were rumors that Anastasia had managed to survive, including a girl who claimed to have been Anastasia, but DNA testing performed on bones discovered decades later refuted such theories.

Anastasia was the fourth daughter of Tsar Nicholas II and Alexandra of the Imperial House of Romanov of Russia. Having ruled for around 300 years, Nikolai was the last Romanov to maintain tsardom, and Anastasia was the last imperial princess of the dynasty. [1] Nikolai was a moderate ruler who raised his children with love, but, nurtured by the history of the tsars, he was ignorant of the world and the realities of Russia. Alexandra lived the idealistic life of a noblewoman. [1] Anastasia was recorded as a rambunctious child who caused mischief by climbing trees, but she was also known to care for her sickly younger brother Alexei. [1] From childhood, she heard the voice of Viy, being the proper heir to the family's sorcery in place of her father.

Despite Nikolai's moderate rule, the world situation was in a state of turmoil. The glory of the Tsar's position was diminishing due to their defeat in the Russo-Japanese War and incidents of shootings against the population.[1] Although they might have known a normal peace had they not been an Imperial House, theirs was one of revolution.[1] Because the ongoing World War I caused mass starvation, the frustrations of the population reached a breaking point in 1917, leading to an incident where a protest left citizens dead. Russian soldiers started a revolt and the Imperial guards sided with them despite martial law being declared in Moscow.

Nikolai abdicated after much uproar, causing the Imperial House to descend into chaos. The family was confined to house arrest, leaving few records from that time other than that they still employed servants. Originally, they may have had the opportunity to go into exile in Germany, their mother's birthplace, which ended in a bloodless revolution. Due to her mother's dependence on the monk Grigori Rasputin, with whom she was rumored to be having an affair, Alexandra's reputation was at an all-time low at the time, making this impossible.
