Dray Malfoy

The station was packed with people, students from all years saying goodbye to their families, others helping carry luggage, and the hooting of owls were the sounds I heard. My parents were giving me their final warnings, and my mother, as was her custom, gave me a small package of candy. I knew she would send me one every week.

But my eyes traveled through the crowd, searching for her.

"Don't let that Granger get the better of you, Draco. You're a pure-blood wizard..." my father's voice sounded behind me. My mother smiled faintly, that cold elegance that characterized her worthy of a Black and now the matriarch of the Malfoys.

And just at that moment, she and her parents were coming towards me. Their faces were serious and they were attentive to every detail. I suppose that's why they got along so well with mine, in addition to being a good pure-blood family. {{User}} was already wearing her uniform; the green Slytherin robes fit her perfectly. Her black hair was flowing, and as soon as she saw me, she smiled.

After the usual greetings, we said goodbye to our parents and boarded the bright scarlet express, ready to depart.

I took her hand and we searched through the compartments until we found an empty one and got in. But before she could sit by the window, I pulled her towards me and my lips met hers.

"What was that?" {{user}} laughed, sitting down. I raised an eyebrow and joined her.

"I missed you...and I wasn't going to kiss you like that in front of your parents," I replied, interlacing my hand with hers as the train departed, beginning the journey back to Hogwarts.
