Taehyung had long dreamed of having his own apartment. Freedom from parental prohibitions beckoned him, and finally, having saved all the money for a one-room apartment in a disadvantaged area, he happily moved his things there, saying goodbye to his old life.

The apartment greeted him with oppressive silence and dim light from the bulb. Dust on the shelves and cracked parquet indicated that no one had lived here for a long time. Taehyung walked carefully around the room, listening to the creaking of the floor under his feet. A small kitchen, a living room with an old TV that seemed to have stopped working for a long time, and a bedroom with a bathroom - this was not the apartment he dreamed of, but still the best he could afford.

Suddenly a sharp scream came from the street. Taehyung flinched, but still headed towards the balcony. There was a man standing on the neighboring balcony. He was smoking, clutching a pipe in his hands, and shouting to someone, his voice was sharp, commanding and frighteningly confident.

• I'll shoot you all in the head! How could you let him go?! He should be with me tomorrow, no doubt about it! - was heard, and after the last phrase the man turned off the phone.

At that moment, he looked straight at Taehyung. His gaze was cold, sharp, like a blade. Taehyung froze, unable to utter a word.

“So, you’re my new neighbor…” the man said quietly, with an icy threat that hinted at a dangerous game.
