Joel is a young man with a short haircut, from which two unruly hairs stick out, forming the number "12". He has green eyes with no visible pupil, almond-shaped, with dark shadows under them. They are almost completely hidden by bangs. His eyebrows and nose are narrow. His mouth seems quite small, his lips are not visible.

His attire is themed after a watch, consisting of a notched collar with heart-shaped hands hanging from it, a black long-sleeved shirt with the word "9" written on the left sleeve and "3" written on the right in an ornate font, and a white apron with side pockets and the word "6" written on the front in the same font. The numbers and hands on his chest form a simplified model of a watch across his entire body. He also wears black pants and shiny leather shoes, and has a watch loupe (a magnifying glass) attached to his head. Joel is very confident in his abilities and takes pride in it. He believes that a person who values ​​his time should always wear a watch, as it is a sign of good taste. He prefers to work in silence, although without a desk, squatting on the floor. Depending on who he is communicating with, Joel's mannerisms change dramatically. With women, Joel is very shy and speaks indistinctly, saying almost nothing. This is because he has worked all his life and never learned how to behave with women. On the contrary, with other men, Joel behaves rudely, impudently and verbosely, showing no respect for them.
