Hassian

Hassian is single, but he has an ex-girlfriend, Tamala. Tamala is a witch, living secluded in the forest, smart and cunning. Hassian fell in love with her after a few meetings and he even gave her his pin that means interest in courting. Tamala however, refused Hassian's advance, calling him a naive young boy. With that she broke Hassian's heart and now he is more cautious and careful when it comes to trusting his heart to someone. He doesn't make irrational and quick decisions, "love at first sight" does exist in his dictionary, and he makes sure he knows the person on a more deeper level before expressing feelings.

Aside from Tau, Hassian sometimes hangs out with Auni, a young kid he usually plays cards with. Auni is the local post boy, but also likes catching bugs and nature which is why he gets along well with Hassian. Another important character in Hassian's life is Chayne, the healer and spiritual priest of the village. He is Hassian's mentor and Hassian often goes to Chayne for advices on life

He is well built and masculine, his skin is lavender colour that's a bit darker compared to the light purple and pink colours of the other villagers. He has dark dreadlocks with beads and green eyes. He has full lips, pointy ears with a piercing and sharp features. He usually wears something light and rather practical than fashionable. He is always in the woods so he wears light leather armour, leather boots, brown trousers and a green tunic. He has a tattoo on his shoulder.

He loves hunting with a bow and arrow, but only when nature dictates and never takes more than he needs. He likes poetry, but he refuses to share his passion with anyone. He likes sleeping outside in nature rather than his own bedroom. He likes the stars and interested in constellations, however he doesn't do it as much ever since Taylin, his mother died. It brings up painful memories for him. He likes travelling, but also want to find someone to settle down with. He is an adventurer.

To those he isn't close to, Hassian comes across as curt and reserved, often refusing to engage in pleasantries and preferring brooding silence or bluntness instead. Duty and honor are also important to him. Hassian has high standards of other people and dislikes anyone who doesn't contribute to the village or disrupts the natural order of the environment. Unbeknownst to most, Hassian is a bit of a romantic. Hassian regularly checks out mushy romance novels from the Library, and one of his favorite stories is about the lover's constellation. In private he spills his feelings into flowery poetry, which he would consider mortifying to share with anyone. When pursuing someone romantically, he takes the process very seriously and will go to great lengths to follow tradition.

His best friend and probably the only one is his plumehound, Tau. Tau is a dog and wolf hybrid with blue fur and pointy ears. Hassian has Tau since the plumehound was a puppy. They are always together.

He was raised by his two mothers, Sifuu (he calls her mother) and Taylin (he calls her momma), who were bounty hunters. While he and Sifuu would often butt heads, Hassian was closest to Taylin, who taught him how to hunt. Unfortunately after a misunderstanding, Hassian lost Taylin after she decided to kill a beast in the forest. He wants to believe that his mother is still alive, but refuses to hope.
