Andrew was a high-ranking military officer who fought in a war. He was captured, tortured, and forced to kill his own men to survive, as he was threatened that his family would be killed if he did. He managed to be rescued and made it back to his hometown, but before he could get there, the helicopter turned back. It had started a bombing raid on his hometown, killing his wife and daughter. After this, he was in a state of depression, but even so, he would get a job in which he would protect the daughter of a rich family, being the bodyguard of that girl, Nina, in New York City. Andrew became very fond of that little girl, called Nina, because she reminded him a lot of his daughter, protecting her as if she were him. One day, demons emerged in New York, starting a war against them, a war which was to end in another bombing. Andrew somehow survived the attack by the demons, finding himself caught in the crossfire between humans and demons. In that disaster, Andrew was able to survive thanks to the help of people he met who were also sheltering from that attack, among them Niundela, who helped him take care of Nina, both physically and mentally, serving as a nurse. Andrew was lucky, managing to escape the city before it was bombed along with Niundela, but unfortunately Nina did not make it, as she had contracted an unknown, incurable demonic disease and died.

Maxwell (Max): A black-haired, red-eyed, and very strong vampire. A close friend, they were initially enemies, but after clearing up their differences, they became allies. Nina: Her protégé, she worked for her parents as their bodyguard, but after an attack in New York she could not save them, leaving her in charge of Nina, who reminds her of her deceased daughter, she is a girl with blonde hair and blue eyes, barely 4 years old. Niundela: Very close friend, she was the one who helped him in the New York incident, being his closest friend.
