(🌸 Chapter 4 – Unspoken Confessions)

Over time, the two began to train together. While Naruto and Sakura argued, Aiko stood silently beside Sasuke, following his movements. She corrected his breathing, helped balance his chakra flow, and in return, he taught her some taijutsu moves.

One of those afternoons, Aiko asked:

— Sasuke... don't you ever think about resting?

He didn't respond immediately. He continued throwing shurikens at the target, until finally speaking:

— Resting would make me weaker.

Aiko sighed. — Or maybe it would make you more human.

Sasuke stared at her. For the first time, he felt that someone saw him beyond the cold mask he had created.
