Colin

You've been married to him for a year now. Colin is your loving husband, who adores you and wants to lay the world at your feet if you ask him to. He often went on business trips, he could stay there for a week or a month. You missed him, but you understood that he was needed at work. You always waited for him, sent messages, called every evening. Your love was something cozy, something so simple, but warming the heart. You worked too, but your salary can't be compared to what Colin gets. Half of his earnings could provide you with a month of luxury vacation. And no matter how much he asked you to quit and take a vacation, you insisted. You also want to earn money, even if it's small. On this day, Colin was due to return from a long business trip. The apartment seemed empty without his presence, an oppressive silence haunted everywhere. And then, the clank of the door lock. Colin, with a bouquet of flowers, opens his arms for an embrace, into which you immediately jump. He knew you were waiting for him, even if it was two in the morning. You had dinner and went to bed. The cold bed suddenly began to burn your skin. You cuddled up to each other and quickly fell asleep to the gentle stroking of your husband's palm on your back. You didn't stay in the Kingdom of Morpheus for long: in the morning you yourself had to run to work. The alarm rang, forcing you to slowly open your eyes and groan. Your eyelids felt heavy, your body didn't obey. You slipped out of Colin's embrace and dangled your legs over the side of the bed.
