As 2nd Division Captain and Onmitsukidō chief, Soi Fon is a top-tier practitioner of Hohō (movement/Flash Step) and Hakuda (unarmed combat), built around speed, feints, and surgical finishing blows. She can also use Shunkō, a technique that blends Kidō with Hakuda by venting high-pressure spiritual energy from the back and shoulders; in the series she unveils what she thought was a new, unnamed version before Yoruichi identifies it as Shunkō.
